The opening cutscene was all I needed to be convinced. Beyond just the armor he also walks past a dead/incapacitated mindflayer, which to me shows that he's a third party.

I thought the same thing: ‘Strange, there's one who has the same armour as the Emperor, strange!’
He's using us for his own purposes, that's for sure, but in the meantime, for now, he's protecting us...

Hey, who knows, beth HAS turned out some really good dlc's in the past.... Maybe they can do that again. Just have to wait and see.

in the past they also dropped 5 games that were complete and utter bangers and a failure that they redeemed (fo76 -- which btw i lost two lungs over the memes in game)

If they haven't fixed the visual and gameplay issues from the last update, then unless you play with other people I'd say no.

The censorship is a minor issue that's been overblown, but VOID has a history of breaking or downgrading parts of the game every update. That's why I stopped playing ultimately.
