Anti–Spawn Camping System

Problem Description

Spawn camping is especially problematic in high–tier ground battles. Despite the current temporary invulnerability on respawn, players get slaughtered the moment it runs out, sometimes without even leaving the spawn point.

The issue is most prominent in cases of:
- close range
- long–range attacks (snipers),
- air strikes on the spawn point seconds after respawn.
- multiple enemy vehicles positioned around the spawn point, making it nearly impossible to escape — even if you destroy one camper, several others can still fire on you instantly.

The current spawn protection system does not always provide a real chance to re–enter the battle, which becomes frustrating and leads to one–sided engagements.

Proposed Solutions


1. Dynamic spawn protection
Protection would not be for a fixed time, but until the vehicle moves 150–200 m away from the spawn point or fires its first shot.

During this period:
- Incoming enemy shells do no damage (they go right through).
- Air attacks have no effect if the player is still protected by spawn protection.

2. Anti–camp zone
When an enemy approaches to ~200 m of the team's spawn point:
- AI–controlled artillery is activated, which damages enemies only or
- The enemy vehicle's crew gradually loses HP (restricted–zone mechanism).
- The idea is to discourage long–term blocking of enemy spawns.

3. Alternate spawn points (optional)
In case the main spawn is under threat, the system will automatically open an alternate spawn point at a more distant, secure place.

These points have to be set in such a way as not to give the team a shortcut to capture points, in order to avoid abuse.

Gameplay Benefits

Provides a fair chance to defend yourself after respawn.

Reduces frustration and prevents matches from becoming one–sided.

Reduces random deaths caused by air attack or long–range fire immediately after respawn.

Improves match quality and flow without sacrificing balance.

Final Notes

This proposal is based on proven mechanics from other multiplayer games that effectively prevent spawn camping without disrupting overall balance.

The mechanics can be introduced in steps:
1. Implement dynamic spawn protection.
2. Introduce the anti–camp zone mechanic.
3. Implement alternate spawn points.
