I think the replication is quite easy - the collision box that's below the pachinko is way too low - for example - you don't get balls if you drop them, and "complete" the game early, so, if you complete the pachinko before the balls collide with "reward box" - you don't get the rewards.

I have a theory that it's something like this:

so... basically you don't get rewards if you don't wait until the balls go deep into the slots...

all in all - the whole pachinko thing needs to go away. Just add immediately 2 balls + refresh for choosing after finishing a round... it literally adds nothing, it's not a skill check, it's complete RNG bs that takes time between rounds. It needs to go away.

What units were left? Were there only support units left?

All units were left, except the 2 heroes I managed to kill with spells and whatever unit it was the berserk unit friendly fired on. No actual combat took place as the AI never moved into range of my units.
The screenshot shows the AI with 4 heroes, 2 support units and the rest a mix of melee and ranged.

What a weird take. It's almost like you know very little about the game.

Civ Vii was made for the Switch , name one other "serious" 4x game that can be played on a switch ?

Civ Vii is a lot smaller in scope than Civ Vi

This "Civ" has a lot less strategy than before , it re-set's your game and is more console friendly .

It has a meta and micro DLC's than would make a parodox game blush .

If you liked Civ 6 , this "version" I would avoid .

3) You seem really hung up on consoles and then always jump back to Civ 6 which is on Switch, PS 4, XBox One, IOS and Android too. You might want to check out the current default age transition settings. They are way less jaring than the ones on release. You also might want to elaborate how 7 has less strategy when playing around age transitions itself influences your strategy especially when it comes to war.

4) Civ 5 and 6 would like a word. While I agree that the pricing and model has become worse, let's not act like 6 wasn't used to spearhead live service into the franchise.

This is an interesting theory actually. Given most of the trolls are here 7 days a week, 16 hours a day and don't own the game, it does make me wonder if they're banged up in some Shengdu Province sweatbox doing 5-10 for speaking ill of Xhi Jing Ping.

I've been convinced for some time at least half of them are bots the way they insist on making the same generic posts, that are almost identical to each other, day in, day out, and keep bumping their own threads...

It's literally the same behaviour you see from bots on Facebook and other social media sites...
