I’ve been looking at Foxhole in 2025 and I’m really curious before I decide to buy.

So, why should I buy this game right now?
Is it actually worth picking up in 2025, or has the player base moved on?
Is there any kind of pay-to-win element I should worry about?
What are the main things I should know before jumping in?
What are the biggest pros and cons from your perspective?

Wars is not that long (well, some is 2 weeks, some are 60 days), so you won't lose any experience FOMO way.

Players still playing, some chilling (Charlie server), some sweating (Able server), but overall population is stable.
Zero pay-to-win. All stuff in game are produced by players, no $$$ input and got 100500 tanks.
Be jentle, communicate, participate in maintaining public facilities, ask before enter private facilities, do not steal, respect property, help others. On frontline - you are not a hero, you are ordinary soldier, you will die a lot. You can become medic, so people would die much less. In logistics - it's time taking thing, mainatining facility, especially solo, takes 10 times more time. Wanna quick experience? Participate on frontline and midline logistics.
Pros - experience, feeling of being part of bigger thing. Hearing that 15 flame tanks you've produced and gave to partisan regiment (guys who distrupt backlines logistics, attack facilities) helped to burn over 40 bunker bases most of it are concrete - priceless.
Cons - this crap takes a lot of time outside frontline work. Running facility demands of supplying it by resources, maintaince supplies, move in and move out staff. Solo it's overburding. In Regiment much easier. At the end of war14 on Charlie several regiments helped to maintain public coke facility run by medium regiment.
