why though? its an old game that its still playable today without any issue. it doesnt look nicer, nor it appears that new content will be good in any way.
i do like that Heanimont is back, but why would you make them work on surviving mars again? just make them work on a new game.
the whole 20 dollar fiasco is acceptable, but you should really focus on extra content for those 20 dollar.s

TBF, this depends entirely on if the player enjoys side scrolling beat them up JRPG. If they do, vanilla GBVS can easily offer 50+ hours of single player fun just from the RPG mode alone. Combined with how cheap that game is on sale, it can absolutely justify the purchase.

I'm speaking from experience as that's what even got me into playing GBVS back then, and I played it exclusively in single player for a really long time before I branched out into playing online.

I agree that if anyone ever wants to play online, vanilla GBVS is not the way to go now, but as a purely single player experience (which quite a lot of new comers to the fighting game genre will do), vanilla still offers a much more comprehensive game systems that can warrant a purchase just for that depending on user preference.

Are they meant to be desk jockeys with no field skills and result is always based on luck? Literally some peasant goons with a pea shooters and extra t-shirt can walk around the corner in front of black ops operative equipped with M4/MK17/MCX, IV armor and helmet and win the gun fight point blank. What's the point playing a campaign with CIA if tactics do not mean anything and they can't win even in a clear advantage? The team is fully leveled up but never would have got there if I had played iron man. They literally suck butt crack even with fully perked up with hand guns and rifles because they fight like my dead granny.
They are sort of fun to play but I have tried this night club mission in certain campaign several times with same results. This one dude literally wasted 15/30 rounds to kill one guy in 10-15 m range

Since you're asking for feedback. How about in Co-Op play, allow us to pick how many domes (1, 2, more?). Since you already have implemented 2 domes in 1v1, could you make it so that a team working together might also have to protect 2+ domes?
