Anyone who takes FPS seriously on mouse and keyboard actually turn off acceleration and smoothing. They are not helpful in FPS games. They don't assist your aim at all, hence why people turn them off.

Mouse Acceleration causes your mouse to move at a different rate based on the speed that you move it, instead of a linear movement based directly off how much you moved your hand.

Mouse smoothing re-interpolates your movements. It feels laggy and can feel like your mouse didn't go where you put it because it's trying to smooth out your mouse movements.

Controller players have aim assist. This comes in many different forms but the principal is: Your aim is being adjusted to give you a better chance to hit your target. Usually by making your reticle slightly sticky on the target or targets having an almost magnetic affect on your crosshairs.

If you could combine the accuracy of a mouse and keyboard with the principal of aim assist, you'd have a very unfair advantage over other players. In any other context in FPS played on a PC that is quite literally the definition of cheating.

I suspect the person who is not quite ready to hear something is the person who seems to have convinced themselves that mouse acceleration and mouse smoothing are something they are not, like helpful in an fps.

I'll be honest, I actually don't know if playing with controller on PC has aim assist, so I won't challenge you on your notion that you playing on PC with a controller is proof of your "skill" but, I will say that keyboard and mouse players do not have the advantages you believe they have. Aim assist on controller exists because typically controllers are imprecise input methods for certain types of gaming so, to make the game more fun for the player you get a significant helping hand from the game. That's just a fact. Mouse and keyboard is inherently more accurate, even with the handicaps of acceleration and smoothing turned on.

If that's the message you have taken from what I said and this conversation in general there's only two conclusions that can be drawn:

1. You are a ♥♥♥♥-tier troll.
2. You don't know ♥♥♥♥.

It kind of doesn't matter which it is, they both amount to roughly the same thing. Simple concepts explained in a way that a small child or dottled elderly person could understand are too difficult for you to comprehend.

Mouse and keyboard being inherently more accurate than controllers isn't some new revelation discovered in this thread. It's well known. Everyone in this thread already knew that to start with, expect perhaps you. It doesn't really need to be mentioned, everyone except you already understood that.

The main point of my post was to demonstrate that you have no idea what you're talking about. You claimed mouse smoothing and acceleration are advantages to kb+m players but, they aren't. They are actually setting that people turn off so they can get their raw inputs. That's easily verifiable information.

Now, I quickly hopped on the game to check if aim assist is present on controller on PC and, at least in the practice range it is NOT present. So to OPs theory, if there is aim assist on PC it is with a cheating controller or with some kind of hack/cheat on the PC. At least based off my quick mess around in practice.

Back to you though, if someone is beating me without aim assist on controller then I am very impressed, not mad.

Some of you still complain about secure boot. I find it strange because it's not even that hard to enable it. I think more pvp games are going to require this feature since COD is doing it also.

But the real problem is that this game still have cheaters. Even with a kernel level anti-cheat. It was fun on thursday but after that it just went downhill.

They have less then 2 months to fix this.

Beta 1 I really enjoyed. Beta 2 has been a pain in my arse. Packet loss on 80% of servers which then makes the game feel sluggish even though my fps is 100+ and temps are low.

Hit reg is all over the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ place, you have people sponging 20 rounds with 80% not even registering only to turn around and down you in 2 hits. I've stood over someone camping with a sniper, and fired 3 shots from the shotgun on his head, first 2 didn't hit, 3rd one registered, wrap your head around that one.

We NEED the option to disable crossplay as 70% of these maps are CQB, I do NOT want to be forced to play with console players and their legal aim bot controllers. If theres no option at launch to disable then I wont be buying the game, its as simple as that.

Except when you are on a bad run and know the Uma will get transfered anyway. Then you win x3 30%+ failure rate 3 times in a row.

In Giant swing if you hit the ground you can 2+u or 2+d soon as you see the dust cloud if you want style points or just mash
2+u will roll up the background or left (reducing damage)
2+d will roll down to the foreground or right (reducing damage)
when he pushes you and your head goes down forwards, (like standing out of consciousness) press f then guard quickly. same for wall bounce when standing

I did make them public btw so that people don't ask to see my matches. Different regions to show I play against them. I have included Europe, Asia and NA in the playlist.

The Alisa player against my Reina is a Middle East player returning to Asia. Middle East region which gets matched with Europe that is.

I have few more replays which I may make public. But those were rollback tests, which I did to explain my friend how he looks on my side.

These not public yet. But seems useful if someone wants an explanation for why they shouldn't play online if they just updated their drivers. They are Kazuya main for reference. He plays well against characters he knows MU for.

Kazuya like Lei the Cop has great download ability, but Lei has more options, a Jack of all trades insanity clause ..

Well it is a very specific nitpick. The blizzard is the aesthetic of the Viking map. And perhaps there are visual settings that could dial it down but having an entire toggle for only two maps is something that would have had to considered so profoundly.
But now with the Map Creator post the post’s date I’m pretty sure you’re able to create Viking-themed maps without any weather effects. That should be the best solution period.
