Cheats how? It does have some terrain clipping issues, I'll give you that, but I still wouldn't say it has artificial difficulty.

I'm in Anor Londo and there are 2 archers in the dumbest unreachable spots. They have infinite ammo, the left one shoots through walls and their arrows bend to home in on you. That's just one example of the game cheating right now as I play.

You have invincibility frames...
You can literally just run straight up to them while stepping slightly to the side. And they're not unreachable. No enemies are unreachable.

my last run had this...I had no solution, but am sure it had something to do with collection a duplicate box ( box 2)...after that happened, It was permanently in my inventory and the challenge couldn't be finished...

"growth" is as in wild trees' and foliages' growth. Not whatever you were thinking about.

Erosion is what I was thinking about, since the name of the setting says Erosion Speed.

And that's exactly what that setting does. On top of the amount of days until newly spawned cars have dead batteries, and also farm animals starting to die I think.

To me your question implied that you were saying something was wrong, but nothing is wrong... except you got crunched.

That happens, even if you are an excellent player in other RPGs.

I didn't get stuck in the game.

I cleared the road to Arnika.

I just didn't found fighting almost-unhitable plants while being 90% asleep very fun.

But yes, if such enemies appeared on a map without nooks then the run most likely would've been lost.

The only "mistake" i've made was getting "armorplate" instead of "magic screen" because I didn't expect the game to throw sleepy magic plants in the third location. (nor did I expect plant based poisons to count as magic)

But even without the sleep, I would still have to slowly lead them to far-away nooks as they do 30 damage per round while my party average is less than 40.

So if the developers encourage metagaming, exploits and very-slow-play.
I want to make sure that the game won't punish me for doing what it urges me to.

My guess this happened because the secure boot version or the BIOS were not compatible with each other. Turning on secure boot has nothing to with EA. Unless someone can provide the data that it was their fault I don't believe. Most of you PC gamers don't keep up with your 3rd party drivers. Consoles do this for you with frequent updates.
