Absolute garbage, even worse than BO6. It was obvious that BO6 was a huge step backwards all around from MWIII, and MWIII was worse than MWII, so..... Battlefield will be 100000x better unless you're a cronus using zombie.

The FACTS are none of the games were illegal, yes they were incredibly distasteful, but legal, and broke no laws.

Today it was those games, tomorrow it could be Baldurs Gate 3 because of the whole bit with a druid who can turn into a bear that they find objectionable or other mainstream games people want.

Hence why Visa and MC are in the wrong and why they are getting hammered right now with public opinion.

Actually, there's multiple reasons to preorder. Preorder items you won't unlock otherwise, early access to beta and final release, and launch time ready. Literally the same reasons pre orders have been around since the 90s.

Yes, we're all aware of certain sweeping changes that CCP makes periodically that alienate huge chunks of the player base. Players tend to think this affects only the PvE aspect of the game, but CCP made such changes even to my preferred PvP-centric play style(s) too. But that's a separate issue from what we've been discussing here (and what I was talking about in my post that you quoted, which is individual players quitting due to adverse PvP experiences as new players, which in reality is a statistical outlier.

Whoa now, you're going to have to provide a lot more context if you say something like that. You were responsible for multiple players, and you were "hounded by a psychopath" (sounds like it was one player), and the example you set was deleting your characters? Instead of organizing your players and destroying that player? Something doesn't add up here. Don't keep it vague, give us the whole story here.

As for the rest, I do agree that multi-boxing is a huge issue, and that CCP made a bad decision for EVE players by promoting it so much. But it's working for them financially, so that was inevitable and probably isn't going to change. Blame the modern consumer TBH.
