Dishonored 2 actually listened to its fans a lot. The switch to voiced protagonists, the expanded nonlethal options, and playable Corvo were all heavily requested at the time. The direction they took with the Outsider was also heavily influenced by one very active fan creator from what I (vaguely, it's been ten years) remember.

Dishonored 2 makes a lot of improvements on gameplay, but storywise it's basically a clone of the first game, without the intense atmosphere and worldbuilding that made the relatively simple plot so memorable. It's one of those sequels that doesn't really add anything new to the franchise while accidentally cheapening the accomplishments of the original protagonists. Daud's story in particular got rendered irrelevant, which is really sad, since imo it was the best handled part of the series.

I hate the direction with the outsider. The game with the worst usage of him is DDOTO, so I can forgive him having a dumb voice effect here. Also really hate how they brought delilah back, I agree.

I'm personally glad they listened to fans here, I think Emily's powers are really boring. Like REALLY boring. I like far reach and that is about it.

The powers in both Dishonored 1 and 2 are extremely overpowered and make the game a power fantasy, so that's understandable that they added a totally optional powerless mode. Too bad the game isn't designed that well without powers, as well as having a few issues with the level design because of that, but whatever.

And yes, Dishonored is a game of "play however you want", hence it has immersive sim design philosophy. And having Corvo as a playable character expands your gameplay options, simply because his powers work different. Not sure about all that no need for extra options and such, it's not like the plot is important and such.

Too bad the pistol is so overpowered that it carried me through the whole game lol (especially the shotgun upgrade).
Yeah, it's an immersive sim. It's a genre based on giving you tons of choices, don't know why corset is miffed about that.

People spamming communication reports even if the person has unbind the team chat or say reporting a deaf and dumb person for being toxic so yeah it really make sense according to the developers of this game as long as they are the developers of this game only.

additionally, i now have a much more powerful pc than i did before - i can host a dedicated server as well if its requested enough. shouldn't be any performance issues as well. i hope.

how do i use them

wait you didn't complete all week 1 and week 2 challenges, it just took me a few hours to leave and find matches for hours after hours until I found one that I was on attack while only searching Breakthrough and Rush and leaving whenever defender... took hours... you're not done yet?

That's if you're lucky and your attackers are competent enough to even take an objective.

Have fun playing your slop ♥♥♥♥ game. If they put it in a playlist it would be much easier but DICE took it away just like they took all enjoyment and excitement for BF6 after week 1. Week 2 has been some of the worst FPS experiences Ive had, so many cheaters now on PC with zen and chronus controller mod cheats and PC players using them and software to get aim assist on mouse, it's so bad.

Not to mention how bad the maps are and the play modes are all ass (seriously, only one jet map in beta and 2 in the entire game? this is BF, only 2 jet maps on release, the rest are shtity close ranged garbage maps.
