It truly is. Running on a 4090 and 7800x3d i will experience MASSIVE drops from 144 to mid 50's in certain areas. No HDR is baffling, but not a dealbreaker as the world is simply gorgeous. But until performance gets addressed i will be shelving this title, sadly.

“Runs” is a relative term but before the lossless scaling “mod” it really wasn’t an enjoyably playable experience but there’s still quite a bit of forgiveness you have to have to accept playing it on the Deck.

I would expect the next gen one to be based on the Strix Halo chip from AMD which runs pretty close to a low end desktop. Problem is I would also expect a sizable price increase.

Imagine a Super Mario game where the jump mechanic was sold as dlc and you had to pay 30 dollars to jump on a turtle.
