When you hate black people so much you would rather build your own town in the mountains and live in a shack with no facilities than have one next door

I feel as though what you're asserting here is that it's not a team game just because it doesn't have the forced shared viewpoint and if that were the case it would invalidate a vast swathe of other popular co-op titles - L4D, DRG, Destiny, Vermin/Darktide, Monster Hunter.. the list goes on.

L4D and Vermintide force you to work in a team through special enemies that completely incapacitate you.

Except people can and would just run through the levels as fast as they could, avoiding most of the content, other than things like slow doors (which are basically a direct analogue to things like launching ICBMs).

Are you suggesting people don't play solo in L4D and Vermintide too?

DRG favours teamplay through finite ammunition amount per cave generation, (frequently) claustrophobic levels that limit reliable kiting routes, having only 1 special tool per player, large enemy variety and downed state with no extra lives system.

I don't play much DRG but the little I did play it has the most enforced gameplay through classes and I liked it the least tbh - entirely my gameplay preference though, there were other reasons I didn't enjoy it.

Can't saying anything about the other two, other than that Destiny, as far as I know, has raids, which The Division 2 also has, and Division 2's raid bosses make it physically impossible to progress without team coordination by design.

I barely raided in Destiny 2 and never raided in Division 2, it's certainly not a requirement to enjoy the majority of the content (which is group focused but can all be soloed (and is)).

Helldivers 2 has no team elements besides team reloads. The entire map is a kiting paradise, no objective requires team effort, you have 4 (24) extra lives at your disposal, health packs and ammo are ubiquitous, and a single player can kit himself out to effectively deal with every single threat in the game on his lonesome. Working as a team is merely a timid suggestion that has no mechanical base.

Just because it has no enforced team elements (outside of bunkers which you can only now loot with the most recent warbond) doesn't mean it doesn't encourage team play. Moreover, there are elements that are clearly easier with teams, such as launching the ICBM (the locks) and firing the cannon in city invasion maps vs Illuminate (aiming + firing) amongst many other examples.
