I think we have a very good record with STF, mods had to be updated occasionally but many never needed it and STF is still getting updated, #361 I believe. We will do our best to publish a mod kit that fits our unique qualities as a studio and still offer as much freedom as possible.

They are both pretty bad, although any char is bad in the wrong hands.
I do detest the executor that pulls out the cursed sword at EVERY boss, but the birdman can be good for revives and in the right hands can come in clutch at a night lord.
It does have bad damage with halberds, but give a guardian a different weapon and it'll surpsie you how much damage it can do, the problem is most players think their class is locked to a specific weapon type.
Ironeye with bows, dutchess with daggers, executor with katana.
All do great with any dex based weapon. Guardian raider and wylder can all use strength based weapons.
Guardian with a great axe or collosal works well, even with a great sword.
That's why this game is a rogue like, you don't have to stick to the preferred weapon type, sometimes you just don't get lucky enough to use what youre char is built to use.
People just gotta expand on what they are using in their inventorys.

Yeah, I always save online manually to avoid that. I don't want any discrepancies so I make sure to save before swapping between devices.

on another note, I also have 500k clones reserved for battling Llysnafedda, though I don't know if that's part of the reason

Every build is viable without multiclassing (although you should take a second one to at least sink points into to raise your stats).
