FIX FOR CRASH

This worked for me instead of deleting any files.

1. Hover over Steam at the top to open a drop down menu.
2. Select "Go offline..."
3. Launch Gears of War Reloaded.
4. Wait until you get to the main menu.
5. Go back to Steam and hover over that same drop down menu.
6. Select "Go online..."
7. Go back into Gears of War Reloaded and everything should load fine, even your MS account.

Hopefully this helps anyone else until there is a fix.

Thanks ENOWONMAI, I appreciate all the help. This is so weird, even when reverting to the old patch I was still crashing. I ended up starting all over from scratch. No mods, clean install removed all older files from C Drive and App data.

Ended up doing one-by-one steps from before, which was time consuming, but finally found my culprit! Not going to be the same case for everyone, but turns out it was the overclocking on my CPU.

Had to go to Control Panel - Power options - Processor Performance Boost and change it from aggressive to disabled.

Glad I could help and most of all that you are able to enjoy the game again

Smart logical people like me have been saying it since day 1, people who actually play the game (first fighting game) and picks thing up fast.

People who don't play the game, under the disguise of "inclusivity" and "wholesomeness" will deny it. That, and people who can't play the game without the broken crutch (I mean, what do you expect, they will come and say yeah this crutch won the game for us?!). They are just being emotional.

As you see this is already happening, and someone is being aggressive and insulting you even though you were polite and civil in OP.

I suggest not rematching, and blocking them all. Simple. Because the fact is: it is extremely unhealthy for the whole genre and competitive gaming in general. Just greedy devs sold out the competitive integrity for few more copies sold (and even went far to butcher characters like Sagat, Bison, and Chun-Li for it, too!).

Imagine having this much of a sad hard on for "skill" in a video game. Die in irrelevance Zhar you sad stalker pedophile.
