But you're wrong with "getting no experience when main skills are 100" you also get experience from non-main skills. And there are no real difficult to level skills, almost all can be boosted in no-time.

A lot of skills in the game will barely go up at all without an utterly insane amount of forced grind... and if they're Minor Skills then they take vastly longer to level.

Untrue.

All of the skills in this game naturally "adapt" to a player's personal play style. If a player chooses to grind skills as their way of enjoying this game, then their skills will fit into that grinding play style as well. For all those who don't like to grind skills, there is no good reason to do that. I personally don't even buy skills from trainers.

My level 43 character's lowest skill is Sneak. It's stuck at 68. It's now even preventing me from getting to level 44. Why? I do sneak around, as I play exclusively on Master difficulty with the Permadeath rule. But I don't like to sneak. I don't do back stabbing. As a result, my Sneak skill has "adapted" to my personal style by 1) going up high enough to allow me to stay undetected sometimes, but 2) staying low enough to reflect the fact that I don't like it - lower than all other skills.

The only skills in the game that level up super fast are Security, Alchemy, Mercantile, and Sneak if you repeatedly pickpocket a Skooma addict or Prisoner. Maybe Armorer if you have a ton of repair hammers and loot every piece of kit from every bandit you beat.
Magic skills level up a tad faster than they used to, but they're still slow if they're non-class-focused Minor skills (and Conjuration before 25 is a nightmare now), plus Magicka regen is a lot harder to get naturally because it isn't a product of total mana pool any more, so quaffing mana potions is basically mandatory.
Acrobatics takes a lot longer than it used to because you can't jump when you run out of Fatigue, and Fatigue runs out really fast when jumping constantly, so you have to be quaffing potions in order to raise that properly too.
....

All the above are personal opinions. Most are untrue.

Autorepair shipwrecks? Autorepair shipwrecks!
Wow, thats actually a meaty patch. Very nice. I was debating making a thread about how OP cryo zappers are, now cryo gets a revamp.

I am a little concerned about the two following items:

Races with faction power less than 50 don't spawn random ships in a sector. They can still have ships related to a given event or quest.

Races with faction power less that 30 no longer spawn embassies in new sectors. They are effectively removed.

Will have to see how that plays, but the idea that low power races get removed feels super breakable if player can manipulate what generates later on. But then again, I love how much the game lets me feel like I can break it.

I do feel like the enemy Syndicate gets pushed to the background later on and that makes the galaxy feel a lot less threatening and a little empty when it happens since they're the one ever present threat when you can basically make everyone else love you, but since it's based on faction power not relation it's probably not a thing to be that concerned about.

And those injury changes...that's hopefully gonna make away team missions a lot more dangerous, which is a good thing. I am breezing though hard with a combo of naturalist and cryo zapper making most planets trivial, which may be a thing to look at. Basically if you get naturalist 3, there are a lot of planets where literally nothing is aggressive so you just waltz around no problem.

Finally..I just spawned into a shipwreck with no exits from the entrance. And me without my hull shears..just have to wait it out and go back, but I havent seen this happen before.

The classic “I didn’t say that” defense—PC gamers’ favorite backpedal. Sure, you didn’t say Secure Boot is the end of PC gaming, but let’s be honest: when you treat a simple BIOS toggle like it’s a nuclear launch, it’s not exactly subtle, is it?

And sure, lecture us on strawmen while ignoring that your entire post is basically a meltdown about doing something literally millions of PC users do every day without issue. “Terrible at this”? Nah, just objectively hilarious.

Are you under the assumption if you just keep writing that I'm secretly having a meltdown after admitting I didn't say any of the things you accused me of saying is a good look?

You might be one of the the worst at this I've ever seen. Not to mention how quickly you folded. "Sure you didn't say that, and I put words in your mouth, but you're having a meltdown you doody head!". Great job man...... you're really killing it out there today.
The “doody head” defense—classic. Let’s unpack this: you’re furious about words being put in your mouth, yet you’re the one acting like flipping a BIOS switch is some unsolvable nuclear launch scenario. That’s… objectively funny.

And “folded”? Bro, I didn’t fold—I just pointed out that your behavior reads like a meltdown even if you didn’t verbally admit it. There’s a difference between what you say and what you demonstrate in the thread, and you’re delivering all the comedy without even trying.

Keep it up though; the forum’s entertainment value just went up by about 300%.
