If by "aim" you mean something that if you do it, it ends the game, no - NMS is open-ended.

If you have got as far as living ships you are quite far in, but there are new storylines after that that open up many new features. There's enough lore scattered around the game that you are still finding more of it thousands of hours in. You can get creative building elaborate bases (annual player-organised Base-building tournament finished last week) and just yesterday they introduce a new mechanic to build elaborate spacecraft that can be used on multiplayer missions.

But the main selling point IMHO is the scenery, which has had several major upgrades in the last few years. If you don't enjoy walking or flying across the planets it's probably not the game for you.

Reusing assets /animations /textures /character models /mini games as much as possible to reduce development costs.(While refining the gameplay)

They could use remove "every npc has voiced dialogues" idea to save even more money. I don't think shenmue fans mind it if they have to read dialogue texts outside of cutscenes.

Because the only way I see a publisher being convinced to fund Shenmue 4 is by reducing development costs imo.

If you remember, at the end of Shenmue 3 we are off to another location. Hard to reuse too many assets. Also, Shenmue 4 would likely ship on PS6 and would require new character models to meet current standards.

Its funny the first time I went into the anomaly this patch, it hadnt loaded the ship in front of me as I entered. So my ship flew in following a man in a space suit flying to the station and landing himself.

I am not sure, if this is a technical thing, so I first post it here, if I may:

The distinguishable sound of walking feet is always the same pace,
even when walking slowly. And it's a rather fast(er) one.
It feels like I make quick, very small steps, not slow walking steps.

Not talking about the sound to startle animals, but the one I hear inse ear.

I play with a controller, for I just like that better in games like this, and so I have the option to reduce the walking speed continuously with the stick; optical/gameplaywise this works ok, but what puts me off is the sound, it does not adjust to the walking speed, doesn't fit.

So I want to ask my fellow hunting strollers: is this just on my end?

Because it grabs into my brain, and because this is quite a walking-game,
what I like, it is relaxing for that matter, and this is a good thing for my nerves ;-)

But I need a slower walking sound when walking slower. If that makes any sense...

No pun intended, I know it's much to ask and I guess it soundsabit 'strange' alright,
but maybe it is on my end and I can fix it anyhow? Even with the help of those unspeakable you-know-whats we dare not to think about for they are banned here.
I am just asking for advice and/or help to enjoy this game further.

By the way: the controlls over all are a little nightmare, still trying to find out a proper way to change the controller-bindings, but it's a bit messy
(maybe that's on my end too? what do I know...)
