It's been really frustrating trying to play this game and seeing it get progressively worse in terms of optimization. The constant crashes has been killing any desire for me to continue on with this game.

Yeah the devs said it was an official issue so idk if your specs have anything to do with it. but they have fixed it so if the glitch does continue, its your specs.

I'm laughing. THe only negative comments are from those that are POE 1 players that don't want to let go. You saw the same thing from other games. They mad. Are their bugs, yes. The game isn't fully released yet. THough I bet their are still bugs in POE 1. It don't matter what you do for them, they will complain no matter what. So POE 1 players, go back to your hole and whine some more. The rest of us find you funny. I encourage you to troll more. We all know you won't stop, so give us more material like the whiney little children you are.

I have a RTX 5080 too + Ryzen 7 9800X3D and get the same issue with DLSS 4 on.
If you enable Steam monitoring with full details you'll see that with DLSS 4 on CPU load is only around 8%, GPU load is only around 15-20%. That's why there is such a huge FPS drop. DLSS in this game is obviously broken :SADFOX:

For the sake of curiosity, what is DLSS? I've had major issues as well and made several complaints on Dell Support (I have an Alienware, which was my first mistake) and Intel Support (It's an Intel and Alienware related problem) with no luck from either company. Seems neither wants to acknowledge they've messed up somewhere with their updates...

I'm not even upset anymore, I just don't get it though. There is fundamental problems with the game and instead of addressing them, they just add more stuff to the broken game. The systems and game design is so flawed that its basically impossible to have any fun once you really start diving into them. This game needs to be shutdown and rebuilt to make systems easier to understand and gearing more enjoyable otherwise its just a waste of a massive game with amazing combat.
