You know what? What you said got me thinking. This might be the difference why some users are helped to recover their accounts and ignoring others, like me. The ban issue and also the fact that my email hasn't existed for years and therefore they might have problems verifying it themselves.

In any case, it's even more annoying because it means being slapped in the face as a customer without having done anything. Years ago, when GTA Online was full of cheaters, ruining the experience for all users, I was banned without having done anything. First, a temporary ban, which I appealed by writing to support, but they didn't listen to me like they are now. Every time the temporary ban expired and I rejoined the game, I was immediately banned again, until the third permanent ban, which even forced me to buy the game again. All this without ever having installed any cheats or paid for any boost service. I had received some GTA Dollars, like everyone else, against my will, since there were cheaters firing bags of money with miniguns. I can only testify this: in 30 years of gaming, I have never received a ban, or such disrespectful treatment from any company, only ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ games did this to me.

Yay the value proposition on using a cracked and relatively unpatched game will depend on the person pirating it. From the point of view of the dev, they're hoping to maximize and protect their long tail revenues both by releasing steady improvements to the game and protecting those investments/improvements with Denuvo. A quick search show their has been an extra 12 million units (not just PC) of the game sold on top of the 22 million in 2023... and patching a game is a heck of a lot easier than building it.

Honestly? I'd only pirate a game really to try it, and if I like it, I always buy it, so its more of a free trial for me, Denuvo kinda stops this, so I personally usually just pass on most games that have it, and by the time its removed if it gets removed i've usually lost all interest in the game, so denuvo has been directly responsable for them losing a sale. I am very picky what games I play and buy, as many games aren't worth the price tag namely most AAA titles are overpriced for what they offer. Especially when you can get simmlar gameplay from a indie game that prob has a better story and gameplay anyway. Graphics won't be near as good, but I never base buying a game on its graphics. If a game is crap but has really good graphics its still crap, its just crap covered in glitter and perfume to try to hide that its crap. Sadly the crap with glitter and perfume fools alot of casuals and console plebs, so thats why they keep doing it as it works on stupid people.

Maybe, but DoW 4 is apparently Unity, and 3 was Essence, sure some way to port across the two engines but this seems like a up from the ground game to me.

Unity is kind of bad for RTS games,
on Essence you have the models and tools to make DOW4 out of DoW3,
that makes more sense , than Dow4 out of Iron Harvest.

I'm probably not far enough (just unlocked ascension), but am I correct in assuming that the only way to get that high of an item level is to get lucky on the 40% node that lets you keep items?
