It's all about money, extra copy sold, extra cheat code sold, they don't want to have nearly perfect game applying heavy anti cheat, beta showed that secure boot didn't stop high end cheats going through, yes it might stop cheap cheats to be detected but nothing else.

oh ok that makes sense. the container idea was moreso a suggestion because I was under the impression there were more kinds of containers beyond health ones, like maybe ammo or even spare weaponry (correct me if I'm wrong). I mean hey, if not, there's another idea that could be cool. but regardless, I am seriously happy to hear everything else is considered and / or coming! I actually like the idea of the campfire map always being guaranteed to be first, sorta the best of both worlds between not getting screwed over on trial 1 but also having genuine variety. thank you guys, keep the good stuff rolling in!!!

Yeah as far as I am aware the plan is to only have the med and ammo containers, I don't believe there will be variants that contain weapons (but that is certainly an interesting idea that is worth considering).

honestly if anything, I think variations like that are worth considering not just for containers, but for basically most things in this gamemode. there's no such thing as too much variety if your lead goal is replay value (unless said variety gets in the way of the game flow and design).

in the case of containers, if it ever gets to a point later down the road where there are too many variations, you could always have more than one in each map and adjust the randomization so you never feel like you're backed into a corner by rng. or if it's not too complex to code, perhaps a game director system of sorts that would randomize items (since I noticed they're not exactly random either) in trials and also containers depending on what you need most or haven't had for a while.

so for example, if you've been low on health for ages, you're far more likely to see health containers. if you've been low on ammo for a while, same with ammo containers. or if the weapon container idea will actually be added, you can have the game director check if you have weapons left, or if you lost every gamble with 914 and there are basically no reserves left in the lobby.

however, like I said, I don't know how hard this would be to do, and I also need to put a huge emphasis on the fact that the game director needs to be subtle. so, emphasis on "you're far more likely to see [blank]", not "you're guaranteed to see [blank]", because otherwise it would be too easy and the game would suddenly feel like it's holding your hand at all times.

actually, now that I think about it, a universal game director system would also greatly help with the problem of enemy pools lacking variety, since it could adapt to the player and the circumstances. but I'm getting ahead of myself, I'm just gonna put this out here for now and see the response lol

I would be careful comparing these two games, because it leads to massively skewed expectations.

This is a traditional CRPG, with lots of text and dialogues. BG3 had a bigger budget and a different vision. This is the grandparent of Grimdark - Warhammer. BG3 is the Forgotten Realms(D&D).

Will you enjoy this if you like proper RPGs or CRPGs? Probably.

Oh I'm supposed to not attack him when he's obviously prime to be attacked, got it thanks, I thought I was unskilled but then I remembered you should just look up every boss before you do it or you'lre gonna get sucker punched. Now that's good design.

i enjoyed every moment of dune, my only issue is how the DD was handled out of the gate was terrible, they have made positive changes in my book but the pvp side of things are really broken and not rewarding. hopefully they change the end game aspect. but hagga and everything there was to do see, farm, craft, and fight? i could easilly do another 300 hours in a hagga new zone with higher tech trees etc. is it flawless? no not at all but its a solid 8 of ten on my review of it and worth the money. I will come back with the new dlc and put in more time for sure.

played the archer like 5 rounds now got him to lvl 16+ each time and i notice there is no Mutishot for upgrade for the passive attack, or its super super rare, but i dont think there is one, the Archer really needs more wave clear Options, the Axe guy passive swing AOE is just sooo powerful, and the archer just attacks 1 zombie at a time just feels bad,

hes charge shot and aoe skill do help a little, the rain of arrows does like zero damage when zombie wave is lvl 7+
