OP u are over thinking it. Purple is a colour very common in Lovecraftian fiction and movies if i'm not mistaken. Think out Colour out of space, Annihilation, etc. I think it looks sick and i am super anti woke.

Agree completely. I'm running a RTX 3070 that idles in every other game, but in this one, the fan kicks on, high speed, and stays there. It warms up my bedroom which has never happened. Optimize, optimize, optimize. Otherwise, the game runs smoothly except for occasional bugs, mostly with the ship.

We are doing a lot of opitmizations from time to time, but don't forget the game is still in early access. It takes time to get a full optimization, especially as we are adding some content regularly.

You do not have to play with the controls/inputs as they are, you can change it if you struggle - the movement mechanics are surprisingly richer than you may think, try to flail around a little. Remember creature interactions are organic and random, sometimes there will be unfortunate cycles, sometimes not - it is intended. Don't force yourself to progress, explore, wander, allow yourself to die over and over, learn and study creature's behaviors, try to grab, eat or throw everything you see. Rewards are exponential the more you explore and learn.

The game plays exactly the same if you stay out of the Beta. The Beta, path for newcomers to the PC Industry, (which obviously you are) is for testing new features before they are released to the main game. Do try harder or educate yourself with how the Gaming Industry works.

i agree it's extremely difficult playing against console players, their aim assist is cracked. I can get some enjoyment out of using vehicles, but needless to say I won't be purchasing a game that forces me to play with console players.
