Having tried out the demo, it's got enough English to be playable.

Like, the game you're asking for already exists and can be purchased right now,

If I actually get to play this game given the system reqs, I'm probably going with Golden Horde if they're not left generic without nomad flavor.

So I've been replaying Kingmaker after spending a ton of time on WOTR.

The Old Sycamore sucks.

First I did it on lawful neutral, and it saved me a ton of fights, it would seem.

Playing it on any other alignment is just...annoying. You're thrust into this battle between two races that you know nothing about and have no reason to care who wins. Neither side has really done anything to help or harm you. But they require you, random person just walking by, to state your allegiance to one of the factions, and then the other faction will automatically try to kill you. And their arguments are simply "The other group sucks and is a bunch of thieves!"

Then there's the fact that this is a megadungeon with several dozen creatures full of poison. Poison which can't be cured until you are level 5, which you are probably not at by the time you reach here. So every time you are poisoned, you will either have to suck it up until your stat reaches zero and you are paralyzed, or you will have to turn on "remove negative conditions on rest" and spend a bunch of time resting.

Then there's the fight with Warrior Queen Bdah. This is a f***** mess of bad GM design and balance. There's 7 opponents after the scout, including the giant centipede. And killing that first mite scout took multiple rounds, even while using bless, inspire courage, and having six characters attack him simultaneously. Why does he have damage reduction? Who throws DR at an APL3 party?

Then there's the actual mite fight with the queen. I'm not sure what kind of templates Owlcat is throwing on here, but Paizo says each mite is a CR 1/4, and these certainly aren't that. The enemies attack from two sides, with an archer and two clerics spamming hold person and channel negative energy. And then the queen herself can pretty much one shot a raging Amiri.

Assuming you actually beat the queen, you get two options: you can spare her, which causes all the other mites IN THE IMMEDIATE AREA to leave. She also says you have proven yourself as a worthy warrior and she will open Sycamore Hall to you.

She doesn't, in fact, open Sycamore Hall for you, nor does she give you anything to do so, despite the dialogue. You also STILL have to fight more mites in other areas, because, as we all know, having your commanding officer run away with her tail between her legs has ZERO effect on a battle. That's why for thousands of years soldiers have never bothered attacking officers!

I know I can get a peaceful resolution and save myself a battle if I spare her, but that doesn't seem worth the cost of giving up a +1 scimitar.

Lurk harder. I mentioned a few posts ago how I've nearly doubled my brother's playtime from the handful of times I played it while he's owned it for years. This lad hasn't even played it. But sure, if we reduce it to simple ownership, then I'll happily concede that NEITHER of our opinions matter. Don't expect him to follow suit, though.

I'm not sure what triggers this, but Osbrook eventually held a "fair" for a couple days this jester was dancing in town square, and the regular town folks don't open their shops, it is this traveling troupes shops. This is where you can get those special "spice" additives, but also the one "general" shop guy sold tier 1 books, I saw a pyromancy book one day. I think his stock rotates out each day.
