Love this game, I have over 1000 hrs playing it in my spare time over the last couple of years, and every update seemed really good until this last one. In Styx, I had died (unrelated) and returned to the site to gather my items, and there were no items at the site of my body. Then I went to several of my houses and all of my items in the cabinets and in my tables were missing. I had a warehouse with about fifty iron cabinets that were all mostly full all of a sudden everything was empty. And my crop plots were empty too. What do I do? I've spent waaaay to much time on this saved game to start over again.

1) If you are afraid some unpredictable problem, I recommend that you save your Icarus progress to a separate folder on another partition of the drive (or flash drive). (disable Steam clouds, otherwise, when you manually return your saves, there is a chance that Steam cloud will return the original saves).

You can do a 'full rollback' with this.
2) You can try to ‘roll back’ the save via a backup file, which is done every half hour or when you exit to the ‘character selection’ menu; until that moment everything was fine.
Mission names usually consist of a set of letters and numbers. You can determine which save was from your mission by the fact that these *.json files will have to have the latest creation date.

The problem with gaming journalism is that they tried to mix journalism and pre-release reviews.

They were never entitled to pre-release copies, so they only got them as handouts from the same companies that they were meant to hold to account. However, if they pointed out that a game was bad, the companies would stop sending them review copies.The earlier the review the better their payouts, so they had an incentive to give even bad games good scores,

Then when it became obvious that no games, even terrible ones, were getting bad scores, gamers lost all faith in those publications,

The investigation and informational publications should have been kept separate from the review rags.

That's pretty much how it started.
Add some failed political jouranlists not getting their dream jobs ad CNN and ending in gaming sector.
And you got not only conflict of interest with the scoring, but also videos from people that not play games, don't know how to, and like to push their hot takes in "game reviews".

I am glad we got somewhat better(not by much) gaming sites in my country.

"Woke" is defined as being aware of important facts or issues, such as being aware of racial injustices, discriminatory frameworks in society and other issues such as being aware of the seriousness of climate change. This could also extend to health concerns, etc.

But referring to it as "harmful" is not accurate, unless you perceive a benefit in ignoring issues such as the aforementioned.

However, using the term "woke" in reference to a game is more often than not, simply in the perception of the person making the claim and is usually just being used on purpose to try and incite argument or confrontation in the thread.

There are games that include important social issues in them, which I think are often misplaced, because they are obviously shoehorned into the game making them almost awkwardly stand out, rather than the elements being organic to the story or setting of the game but far more often than not, "woke" is just a perception some players choose to take because they misunderstand the term, or are just looking for a reason to attack the game or trigger the game's community.
