I'm gonna try a mod that should force the game to the GPU for Direct Storage instead of the CPU. If it works, might help OP if they have enough VRAM free

It's worth a shot. If the mod actually works and the implementation of DirectStorage is not messed up in Wilds then theoretically it should have some effect.

So I installed the mod and also made sure my DirectStorage and DirectStorageCore dlls were as up to date as possible(file version 1.3.2506.2501). And it has had moderate success.

at 1440p, DLSS set to quality(about the same for DLAA) the initial load time for Highest textures has been reduced significantly for me. In addition I didn't notice and pop-ins when I swung my camera around. Also the Grand Hub(offline, didn't test online) holds a stable 60fps(which is my target) for the entirety of my brief test.

I went to the Scarlet Forest, same deal with textures, but the frames still drop to around a low of 45. It's less frequent, but still happens. We'll need to wait for the devs for some more performance boosts, but all in all I think the mod is worth while if you have enough free VRAM. I was at 10 and change, brought me up to about 11.5G.

Still having this issue as well. I will not play not because I know I cannot progress passed the tropics without disconnecting and logging back in and dying to fog. The fog won't be impacting anyone else near me but I'll die right in front of them. No items or amount of climbing helps. Can we please get an update @Hanna?

The game is set on the longest day of the year, so more daylight hours, but yes mods can affect this too.

I can't see what state you are in to confirm sunset time.

It has been confirmed that there will not be individual tools. That the omni-tool will be available from the start and upgraded with raw science. THIS. IS. BORING! You're removing a key aspect of the original!

Not all of us are play for the combat. Some of us fell in love with Grounded for the other survival aspects. The exploring of the world. The progression through the tool system, the unique management of resources and unique identity of different playstyles.

We needed MORE tools. MORE variety to how to interact with the world. Tools you could only get by accessing certain areas of the park, OR tools that have different effects depending on what area you go to. (Example: if you go to the ice cream cart first, you can craft axes that last longer. If you go to the cherry tree first, the materials you get to craft axes can harvest quicker, etc.) Instead, you guys go the opposite direction and remove a whole beautiful part of the first game in the aim of streamlining it for combat players.

This is the worst possible decision you could have made with the direction of this game, and I will not be supporting it in any way if it keeps going in this direction. As far as I'm concerned, if this doesn't change, then this is not a Grounded sequel, but a Grounded spin-off, and should be marketed as such.

There is a very annoying bug in taskbar. It's often impossible to move mouse on context menus. It appears by a right click, but once you move the mouse up out of taskbar towards the menu, it will disappear and windows previews will appear instead. Those previews also often don't disappear when you focus to another app.

Progressbar colors also not fixed.
