Mine is stuck at 49/50 on steam and 50/50 on ubisoft connect. So there's definitely a sync problem right now. I tried restarting both and the issue is still there.

You kind of dug yourself into a hole here, but when you contacted them, did you stay civil and look for solutions to solve the issue? Like ask for the account to be rolled back or to ask for a way to recover the account?

I know majority of the people who come here after their ban usually always end up being angry and riding a high horse while talking down to DE and thinking they can get their account back by being demanding.

Most of the time, ban appeals are lifted after you show them you understand the issue, show remorse and stay patient with them. I don’t know about admitting to giving your account to another person and having them buy premium currency, but I’m still curious.

I imagine it’s extremely strict since there are so many attempted RMT and ♥♥♥ accounts, or VPN accounts trying to buy platinum from different areas for less money and exploitation. Sorry for the ban.

Interesting how those who are the loudest about how bad the game is all pile onto Steam forums to complain about it though.

Just so we're clear... there are quite a few ways players can have played games ON STEAM without that little mouse icon showing up by their name. I can think of at least 4 ways, though 2 of them have considerable crossover.
Every time someone pulls out the "don't even own the game" argument, they've already failed, as it is impossible to know unless someone explicitly admits to it.

Yes sir kicked off the game twice in the last two days for several hours at a time and how can I complain when I've only been kicked off of this game a handful of times over the last month or two. You know what, over all this time I've learned to appreciate both the transparency and the effectiveness of the VAC system and I know when my number is drawn by the algorhythm that I am saving some other random player the frustration and confusion of the whole ordeal. I can barely even stand playing games that are lazily programmed to be played and enjoyed at any time and for how long as one may like and the randomness of the process really plays into my gambling addiction. I can still open cases and buy skins though, thank Gaben! There are only one or two hackers in every lobby now so I think the ends justify the ridiculous means, can't wait til I'm allowed to play my game in a few hours!

Why would there be less corruption in the capital than some backwater? There would be far more opportunity to dip the till, I would have thought.

Because the distance from the power base is not as far. Some far flung settlement could take weeks or months to relay information, where in the capital it could be done in hours if not less. It's about power projection, and it's easier to project power in your own backyard.
