Secure Boot doesn’t break modern systems. It breaks sketchy ones. 😅

✅ Makes kernel-level anti-cheat way harder to bypass
✅ Keeps your system (and the game) safer

🧑💻 Legit players with Secure Boot:
✅ Game runs
✅ Anti-cheat works
✅ Life is good

⚠ “This is why I only play cracked 2012 indie shooters!!”

If your gaming setup involves turning off core security features just to boot, maybe the problem isn’t Battlefield. It’s you.

Secure Boot stays. Hackers don’t.

Secure Boot sounds like the ultimate safety net, but it’s far from bulletproof.

DMA attacks are still on the table — with PCIe cards, Thunderbolt, or dedicated hardware you can go straight into RAM. Secure Boot doesn’t help once the system’s already running.

Same with usermode cheats: plenty of modern tools just hook into DirectX or overlays. No unsigned driver at boot means Secure Boot never even sees it.

Kernel exploits are another angle. If there’s a hole in the kernel, it can still be abused even with Secure Boot enabled. And let’s not forget signed-but-compromised drivers — if the signature is valid, Secure Boot lets them through.

At the end: Secure Boot stops some low-effort tricks, but serious methods like DMA or kernel exploits still work. It’s useful mostly because it filters out the cheap cheaters.
