I prefer and do better with hammer because I am better with its play style even if I think power fist is better. Like I said before the weapons/class buffs I go to 25 hardmode siege with randoms with the hammer.

To be honnest I'm not sure to understand why. Moves, positionniong and secured windows are pretty much the same no matter the weapon. So if you're confident with the hammer you should be as well with the fist.

Considering you exp on siege mode, I play with random as well and I think that going to 25 wih rands is more related to how good are the rand and how long they stayed than the hammer :)

What it is, is that Hammer is always doing AoE attacks even on it's light attacks and they are much Faster so you do the damage much faster. So Hammer's light attack spins right into two ground slams.

Fist in order to do your AoEs you have to Charge it which takes longer, so even if the individual hit is slightly stronger on Fist, it doesn't do enough AoE fast enough to get the same damage the Hammer does.

Now Fist has other things it does really well which is why I like using it. Its exceptional at Terminus and Boss Mob dueling. Hammer can do that well too, but not quite as good. The other thing Fist has is that you can configure it with damage resist while charging, so you can literally do charged attack after charged attack just changing directions for the AoE

Hammer and Fist are the two hardest hitting weapons in the game which is perfect for Assault due to the use of Ground Pound and need for AoE. But it is still slower when it comes to dishing out a lot of AoE.

When I watch other videos, the count goes up once every time I kill and then another time when I hide it.
But when I do it, the count goes up once when I kill and hide it,
And when I killed and hide the 8th person in 7/15, it didn't count at all
When I press f1 to go to the challenge window,
only researchers hidden and unseen are checked, and the pacified is not checked
and also clear the stage but Research and Hiding is not cleared
