No. Over 90% would carry on posting if FDEV said no to ship interiors.

To be fair, even if Frontier added interiors, they'd keep posting about it because it wouldn't be the interiors they wanted. When they realize that you can't walk around the ship while it's in flight, and that there's nothing more to do there than there is in Fleet Carriers, they'd all take to the forums to complain about how Frontier did it wrong. Same as they did when they gave us space legs... except legs actually added something of real gameplay value to the game.

Most likely yes. PPL will complain about anything and everything.
You can cure Cancer and you will likely have ppl complain about it online because it "goes against the natural order." or some equally ridiculous B*.
The trick is to be able to make an educated decision as to who to listen to ...
And it is not an easy trick indeed ...

It's also likely that you wouldn't get access to most of the interior. You'd probably be restricted to a few corridors and that's it. The fact of the matter is that the ships weren't designed with interiors in mind. There's not enough space inside of the ships to actually house everything you can outfit the ship with, so they'd either have to completely rework every single ship's stats and internals to make them fit in that space (a ton of work, and a lot of people would be upset over the changes) or, the easier solution: lock it all behind walls/doors so that you can't notice that every ship in Elite is basically the TARDIS from Doctor Who.

Let me give you my personal voice (for what its worth ofc):
IF they give us that, a bit of Ship Repair and the ability to decorate:
VERY FEW ppl will still "complain" if compared to now.

That was not a promise... that was a dude talking about ideas.

Now idk about you but if I am basing my literal KICKSTARTER around something,
and then have ppl INVEST in that ... I think "Promise" is the term to be used here ...
BUT YES you are right.
Technically, they will only "break" the promise once the servers are shut-down and there are no Ship Interiors yet.
But we don't care about that.
Neither do we care about "Big-Game-Hunting" or "Gold-being-manually-loaded".
...
We just want Ship Interiors :)

Realistic early start is a challenge! I commend you!

There have been some improvements to ES water and sewage, especially since most stuff using prefabs (including pipes) are now locked behind a Tech Uni research which unlocks in the '50s.

That said, at least on the latest test branch (which I'm on), there is now plumbing that uses bricks instead of prefabs. It's lower throughput though, to balance it. I am unsure if this made it into the public release yet, though.

That being said, on my realistic games, I often choose to ignore plumbing for the first few years until I get a population of a few thousands and use Tech Services with water and sewage trucks. Until you pressurise your network, the consumption of water and generation of sewage is manageable with a fleet of Russo-Balt trucks (and T138s for 1960s start).

The tasks being non unique is fine, I wish the different factions had different weapons and armor though!

I don't think it is fine that they have no unique tasks . if each had a unique task giver unique to their faction to start than opened up to when you finish their starting line they introduce you to the traders we have now that are shared that would be fine . but copy past the town over and over and have the exact same starting tasks is not fine.

For finishing king 9 with all kings, as it a difficult task for people to do, as some kings do just work alot better.
