Anyone else feel like you should be able to scope for a 1sec or 2sec before the light shows to everyone else. It gives the chance for the sniper to be stealthy (besides kill spot) rather than spotted instantly for scoping.

I am curious if anyone else agrees?

I should be playing now.

I try to buy games that can be played 100's of hours or more. 1.5k hrs in RDR2, 2.5k in 7Days to Die, thousands of hours in Bethesda titles etc. Everything on PC.

Followed this title from it's rocky release thru it's many updates/upgrades and was happy for the players and devs that they actually turned things around.
I was happy about a game I never played.
Maybe I saw it as a victory for gamers who seem to get the shaft a lot now days. I was unable to play this until I got a recent computer upgrade.

Happily walked to the store yesterday to buy a steam card and did the dirty download.
30 seconds in I have to drive a car. Cool.
Happiness slowly fades. Undriveable.
Turn steering sensitivity to 1. Undriveable.
Look into controls menu. Adjust everything for 2 hours,Same as when I first started. Controls for steering along with ridiculous acceleration allow car to only safely maneuver in a straight line.

Going from forward to reverse starts some sort of rotating camera of the gods.
180 degree camera action that you can't turn off. You can slightly adjust it, barely, almost, kinda.
Touching the mouse at any point in this process almost causes an epileptic seizure.
I am at this point 100% convinced this is not only the worst driving/riding mechanic I ever used it is the worst from any game ever.
Car drives like the wingsuit in Far Cry games.

Frustrated.
Happiness is no longer an emotion I possess.

3 hours in, spent more time trying to the fix car than create my character so I take a break.

Have an overwhelming fear of having to drive "THAT" car again and become actually reluctant to start the game again.
Doom scroll youtube for an hour.
With a hand full of energy drinks and stimpaks I go back in.

Screw the car I'll bind some keys for my playstyle. Immediately after opening the bindings tab a cinematic of the Eye of Sauron appeared as a forewarning not to step foot into the Realm of the Keys as I would surely unlock pain and suffering beyond my worst fears.

They used almost every key on the board for 100 different commands.
Like 7 different letter keys to get into the same character main menu. Multiple keys for toggle functions that should be an on/off control in the menu.
It will warn you when you bind over but won't tell you after what key it is, forcing you to scroll the entire list to find the key with a blank slot.
Other jank causes one to have to reset bindings to default to start over. Something I rarely have to do.

Red Dead 2 bindings from the console port to PC were bad. Not just my opinion, it took up space in forum threads for years.Even though I played the hell out of it the key combos were trouble throughout the game.
The fishing mechanic was a good example.
Hand hovering over 10 different action buttons with integrated mouse left/right pole movement and a left/right action key on the mouse.
Insanely complex unnecessary mechanics.
And No Timmy, I don't care how many gold stars you got for the legendary fish you caught. I caught fish too. That's not the point.
The key/mouse combos were way to complicated to make the experience
relaxing and enjoyable.
Like I don't know?? Real Fishing.

My brother had the exact same issues and same frustrations. I loved that game but I will never buy another Rockstar game for the key mapping alone.

Just before pulling the trigger on my purchase I double checked to see if this was made originally for PC and was glad to find out it was. I thought it would be easier to get into on that basis.


Maybe I've over reacted ?? I haven't even made it to the first objective, the Tower.
Maybe my complaints are known?? I don't ever go into forums for games I don't own or play.
Maybe these smaller issues were overlooked during the upgrades?? Other more important things were broken.
Maybe someone has some good advice ?? In before Git Good or stop crying.
I know I rambled about RDR2 but I am getting that same vibe again.

I should be playing I know but I did this.

No. It is not out of the norm. The 7DTD kickstarter had promises for the 1.0 release. Now we are on 2.0 and still missing promised features.

It is not out of the norm to expect them to deliver upon those promises - especially before coming at people with awful price increases, removal of features and DLC,...

Whilst not once finishing their own roadmap. They put that roadmap forth. They slacked those years.

Terraria didn't play dirty like that - to call the game 1.0 and 2.0 and be missing features.
They went the opposite way. They added more than initially planned - then said their goodbyes half-a-dozen times and came back to expand on a great game just for fun and not for gutting the money out of the carcass of a community.

Terraria didn't fail to meet any expectations or promises.

7DTD did.

7DTD could not even deliver on 1.0 or 2.0...promised features for release,...
Calling itself no longer early-access despite missing things which were supposed to be done within early-access,...

I can understand the frustration of not having promises delivered but...

Promises broken, that happens all the time. Most don't fixate on minor issues and move on.

And like it or not, a game is a minor issue.

Certainly continuing to trust TFP and hoping for a better outcome, may well fuel more dissatisfaction.

And most assuredly, no one is getting their money back.

I'm trying to figure out their definition of "failed."

The game has performance issues, but otherwise has been a beautiful way to replay Oblivion.

Going to guess that in this case "failed" means "said something I don't agree with"

Before buying it please remember that EA can steal this game from your account and you won't get your money back. They will treat you like a crap when you will ask why they did this. Not worth to support such companies.

I denie your interest to games forever. Suffer.

For me this is bugged. I have put all items in at there places, taking a quicksave....and suddenly all buttons to use the slots are gone and don't come back even after a reload -.- (Last save 4 hours ago.....man this game should really save more often with autosave...something like save every 10 mninutes or so).

this happens to me every time i try to play the game, someone said it may be 50 series cards... either way it makes the game unplayable for me
