M9 Bayonet | Lore 0.24

Game is badly broken, When re-visiting areas, the game resets the area you get locked down into restarting that location. This results in some very odd problems.

You have to revisit due to need a breather for the vatican. You go back to gizeh you get stuck because you can't pickup a map you already have, which prevents you from leaving a tent

It's a huge mess and not sure how this passed any kind of quality/bug checks.

I finished playing Last of Us 1 and now I am playing Last of Us 2 and I reached Seattle day 1 for Abby.

I had heard that there are people who are saying that Last of Us 2 is a bad game before I started it because there is a messed up plot twist in the game. They complained that the trailers and marketing promised them a different type of game and instead they got a messed up plot twist in the game.

I played Last of Us 2 and I found out what is the messed up plot twist in the beginning of the game and it's that Abby killed Joel. Later on in the game in Abby's flashback we discovered that the doctor that Joel killed in the end of Last of Us 1 is Abby's father. Thus that means that the plot twist is something normal because Abby wants revenge for her dad so there is nothing messed up about that.

I feel that the story of Last of Us 2 is nicer than the story of Last of Us 1. Last of Us 1 has a weak and slow story. Joel discovers that Elie is immune and he promises to take her to the Fireflies and then the story progression pauses. The whole game is about the journey to the Fireflies lab and the random characters that they met on the way and most of them have no effect on the story and the game just focuses on the interactions between the characters. Last of Us 1 made it work because those character interactions were nice like for example how Joel and Elie bonded with each other. Last of Us 2 has a better story than Last of Us 1 and the other characters in Last of Us 2 are more involved with the story of the game. Thus this means that the people who said that Last of Us 2 is a bad game are wrong.

Oh yeah, that’s almost exactly what I was looking for - the Playback >> Advanced >> Position Menu >> Backwards - Forwards slider. These do control the same things as the mouse, which is great. It’s a little cumbersome to navigate into the Advanced menu every time, but at least I’ll have more precise control over zoom this way.

MPV vr-reversal plugin uses the scroll wheel for zoom, but I prefer to keep the scroll wheel for volume. Since my mouse has extra thumb/side buttons, maybe a future option to map mouse buttons could help make those controls more interactive without needing to open menus.

Anyway, I’ll be waiting on the eye swap update. On that note, what’s the best way to stay up to date on beta updates and patch notes? I downloaded the latest beta v5.58 but couldn’t find patch notes or news for it. I checked the Whirligig Steam News Hub and the latest post I saw was for v5.578 (June). Should I be following that, or is there another place you post changelogs?

any fix for this?

Yes. Don't get the BUCKET OF WATER as Darien, and
get the EGYPTIAN ROOM KEY as soon as you see it. These are only in the PC
version. In the Xbox version, be sure to solve the final Journal puzzle in the
Pyramid correctly. You have to go back and use an earlier save. I had to catch up a lot in the story because I didn't save the game often enough.

i think it's easier FS nerfing the boss thrice than some people learning to get good at the game tho
