The pistol, it's usually a starting weapon, ammo is usually easily to procure, if not infinite, and then some games just allow you to upgrade it by playing the game.

Get good with the pistol in any game and then one can usually dominate said game.

Most games are going to be a loss. I stopped worrying about that a long time ago and I have more fun when I just try my best regardless of the scenario.

Yeah, I know V Rising isn't technically an ARPG but it ruined me in the Isometric controls department. I can't go back to Click to Move ever again, it feels so clunky and awful comparatively.
