I asked a JP veteran about this shop a few weeks ago and it doesn't reset monthly or anything like that. Meaning you're free to just hold your statues as long as you want.

After you buy all the shards for one horse, the shop will then add another 25 shards, except the price will go up by one statue each time you buy all 25 shards.

I think the best use for them is to boost the lower rarity horses to 3*s so they get their signature outfit and can now pass on their unique skill via inspiration. Stars 4 and 5 only give a small boost to base stats and how effective a horse's unique skill is so I don't think it's worth doing unless you already have most of the shards from pulling dupes.

In both cases I would only buy shards with statues if you only need a few more shards to finish an uncap. For example my El Condor Pasa was like 24 shards away from 3* thanks to her legendary race so I then went and purchased 24 shards from the shop.

What? is his profile pic being an ai image hurting you? Just let him have his pfp, its not like yours is a masterwork either. And no im not saying mine is either. Just let people have a defining profile picture and stop trying to enforce your own rules
