SCROTAL RECALL
You could possibly try to clear out your PC's shader cache, as well as Killing Floor 3's shader cache. Sometimes, even after smaller hot fixes it's not a bad idea to do this.

- Before you try this, set the in-game graphics settings exactly how you want them.

Like with most UE5 games, try to avoid using 'custom' graphics settings and stick to the presets (Low, Medium, High[/b},]Epic).
It annoys me greatly to have to do this, too - like in Silent Hill 2 if you use the custom preset menu to tweak individual graphics settings it seems to break shadows in cut-scenes for some bizarre reason.

- Exit the game, and navigate to:
C:\Users\<YOUR-USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Nightfall\Saved\CollectedPSOs
Delete all of the UPIPELINECACHE files in there - the majority of these seem to be shaders that are collected and cached during actual gameplay, and not the cache that's built whenever the game boots up for the first time.

To get the game to re-build that initial shader cache if you really want to be extra thorough, re-installing your graphics card drivers while selecting the 'Clean Install' option will usually clear out any DX shader caches in your AppData shader folder. This can be tedious, obviously but you normally don't always need to do this - and shouldn't unless it's a case like yours where performance has just randomly borked itself and you're just trying to diagnose the issue.

Alternate solution to re-installing graphics card drivers is to delete your GPU manufacturer's locally stored shader caches yourself, which are located in:
NVIDIA
C:\Users\<YOUR-USERNAME>\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\DXCache
AMD
C:\Users\<YOUR-USERNAME>\AppData\LocalAMD\DXCache

(Some shaders cache files may not delete, and Windows will say that they're currently in use. If you sign out of your desktop, then sign back in you can immediately re-navigate back to those folders and try to delete the remaining files)

(There are multiple methods to clearing out shader caches on your PC, like using Windows' built-in disk cleanup utility or through your GPU manufacturer's control panel app, so I just included the more common universal methods)

I'm not saying definitively that shader caches are the cause of yours and other peoples performance issues, but in newer DX12 titles I always tend to try this first if a game ran seemingly fine for me last week and then crappy this week after an update was released.

Hope this helps if you decide to try it! :)
