Yes, damned has to be fun. Theres no lobbies because no one is playing it. If people knew about the game, then there would be players. But no one knows about it, so theres no lobbies. That is not something a player can fix.

53 players is nothing! Even if they stay (they never do, the peak is always just the peak) then what??
These 53 people will not play forever, no matter what.

Damned 2 didn't die because it had no marketing — plenty of games with zero ads have thrived. It died because the 53 people who did find it refused to be the community that would've made it worth staying. Marketing might bring more people in, but if all they see are locked lobbied and a closed-off player base, they're gone just as fast. That's not a marketing failure — that's the community killing its own game.

They changed the mechanics so you can't kill certain bosses now. They also also changed the story elements compared to how it was in the game before patch 1.5.

The story is still the same. They just added some clearer closure to some quests which is actually needed. And added some notes here and there for more info on what is happening around. But the story is literally still the same. For sure I kind of agree that maybe they did not have to make those other troops become our allies in chapter 4. I like that we can choose to kill both sides but it does not change the story. I also disagree with the nerf on the pothead monster. I just started a new run and the pothead can easily be staggered whereas before their main feature is they cannot be staggered and so we had to really dodge and attack etc.

As for bosses like the emperor which many ppl said was changed. It was never changed. Again they just added a closure instead of their bodies just disappearing after resting and us picking up the loot with no clue as to where they went. The patch hit when I was at the beginning of the last chapter and was happily surprised to find that note saying what happened to them after. At first I thought I did something right in the questline for them to leave me a letter this time around but later learned it was from the patch.

Edit: I also see you barely played the game and have not even gotten past the first half of chapter 1. So I really do not know why you would complain about the changes when you have not even experienced the game pre-patch Mechanic-wise and story-wise. Same with a lot of ppl in the forums complaining but do not even own the game. It is just weird and suspicious.

I just don't like the fact that something like that was changed regardless, after the product was already purchased. Its a video game so regardless if it was due to pressure or not, the statement at the beginning of the game says everything is fictional.

I did play the game before 1.5 and I could still spam r1 and kill enemies the same as I can do now so not sure why people are complaining about difficulty change.

Если же деньги улетают в чёрную дыру можно накастовать себе пару сотен тысяч, или миллион. Ну и уровень бустануть, если влом ждать когда что то откроется.

After round about ~4,5 hrs into the game, I can say that I really like it!

Game is looking awesome, sounddesign & music is nice, the story is fine.
I like the gameplay, it's a really good mix of combat, exploration and puzzle-solving.

No performance issues at all, no crashes, everything is absolutely fine for me.

When I could ask for one change:
For a story mode, the big bosses are really tough.
I don't expect that when I choose a "story" mode.

But this is my only complaint.

Think I need to recommend the game to a few people. ;)

I'm pretty sure I missed at least one in a rush to finish a dungeon but I can't remember which dungeon level I'm thinking of.

I've completed dungeon levels through #8 and have freeze, time shift, and frenzy.
