Why redditors want to defend sony so hard? I'd want to say: "They make awful games", but in reality - they make no games at all? What people are even fighting for? :trump:

Why is everyone suddenly a redditor now? People like you are all confirmation biases. You have to crush everyone who disagrees with you into this narrow box perception you have of the world so you can dismiss them.

Sony has had the most awards and most nominations at the Game Awards since it's existence.

So wtf you mean "no games"?? They have literally a GotY nominee every year, sometimes multiple.

Do you even know that this award never rewarded good game?
All this reward are company that either pay to get the award or company that have close tie with the people managing the awards.

Since it's existance this thing gove 90% of it's award to games no one care about. They often even refuse to have extremely popular game as candidat for any award because it dont follow their political belief.
Worst, they regulary give award to game no one care about because it push their belief.

No one in their sane mind will ever use anything like the games awards, the oscar or any other thing like this as proof of quality.
Everyone know that these things never reward quality but either the people who pay, those who sleep, or those who push the "right message".


PS : The closest there is of a "good" award ceremony is the Steam awards, but even these are totaly biased because it put all game in the same basket, so devs team with 3 dude compete with company worth million.

I want to know what the abilities of enemies are, I don't think what the do should be revealed at first though.

It's just a rhetorical thing they are doing. Everything they are doing is to contribute to their vision of full release (whatever that may be internally), except for these plug in to be removed interim mini acts.

This way they can still call it "early access" because they didn't have enough of it ready yet, but it was in a stable enough and playable state, but they can also get a head start on people playing and paying them money. They then proceed to treat it exactly as if it was already released, with patch schedules, adding completed stuff, etc.

Basically, if things are not going well they have the early access excuse. If things are going great, this is exactly how the game is supposed to be. Kind of a win/win scenario they've created for themselves.

I hope they turn the interim acts into endgame content, considering they seem to be going with a pre-1.0 time travel plot that will sum zero at some point.

it seems like what you are probably looking for is an action RPG and what you bought was a souls-like. I appreciate that you want to be able to enjoy the game that you bought, but, in fairness, have you beaten a souls game before? If not then perhaps research the genre? This is what is expected by souls fans and tbh, it would piss off the entire fan base if the only difficulty weren't "It is what it is". You can request whatever you want but I'm trying to give you a word of caution for future releases. On the bright side, Lies of P is an awesome game and they added difficulty levels when they dropped DLC. Perhaps that could be a good intro into the genre, though not entirely souls-like, that could get you used to the learning curve? If the game were co-op, I'd walk you through it, but maybe look at a walkthrough like FightinCowboy's. It should help you beat the game and understand the systems.

Because those people are paying customers and Team Cherry have pissed on so many feet that their reputation is getting absolutely shredded - they are screwed for their third game - the hype train will never leave the station as folks in the majority are just 'Yeah, will pay for the game but TC are dead to me after that'....

Should have employed a PR man / Community manager.

The game can't be pre-ordered, so no, they're not 'paying customers'. How are you degens so entitles you think you're owed a game? The game will come eventually, so stop sperging out and forget about it for now.

Full desync on events, tradebots, hackers, ptw, no tank/healer for instances, pvp still a bad joke. Just mindless grind for nothing.

Needs PVP and guild alliance balance. cut size of guilds in half or quarter and should balance out. more competition = fun. big guilds = stupid.
