No you can't heal that up right away! I am OK with losing some stuff but make it so you don't lose quest items that are required for recipes to progress through the game. Or if so have it respawn in an area you have been not in the nuclear fall out zone that you have know defenses early on in the game. I have spent more hours than I wanted to find the titanium cage after losing it to dying. This was an absurd amount of time. After watching several of my favorite youtubers finally oztron showed me were one was and it was not at the pio north it was in the nuclear zone. Thank you oztron. Another you tuber complained about tring to find it for 3 or 4 episodes zukimik. This is not normal since the recipe item is needed for the main ingredients of the factory items.
As for the bugs that was super fun but I have to agree with Edrickv. How in heck do they have pinpoint accuracy and they can't even see you. You can't sneak up on them, you can plan an attack, this was so frustrating. As for the refresh of the grenade this a ridiculous, really you have wait one hour to use it. WTH. No way to create grenade. I will continue whining. Here is more I did not like.
Getting through the nuclear zone is challenging but there is know way to determine in the waves of it showing that you have a chance to make it to the other side of it. Sure the upgraded dashes and the resistance foods help but give me a break on how quickly it is needed to get those items in the character menu the you click on the item then you click use. There is no hot key bar option for these items and then you are dead.
Ok here is another grip: You start playing and have played for hours not knowing there is no auto save enabled. What torture it is that you learn the hard way that all your progress is gone.
As for the food ingredients omg. 100 of this 60 of that and then you make water you get more benefit of eating the tulip by itself then you get with what you just created in the food machine. This makes no sense.
but wait I have more: This constant annoying repeated game play tutorial on every time you eat food, build a machine, duplicate voices during ruptures drove me up a wall. This part was torture. If I hear one more time eating something is not good and then to tell me that we starting eating this way. ARG.
Another one, weapons upgrade and for this I know oztron did way better getting the scope but after 80 hours of game play to finally have enough warbonds to get it is insane.

Overall the game is amazing and I can't wait for the developers to fix the bugs, and all of the above issues I had with the game.

So while I and plenty others were able to unlock Mak for free by you know, playing the game, that isn't going to be available for anyone else moving forward? What happened to monetizing the game through cosmetics like similar strategy competitors like TFT?

It should be fixed in the update. My guess is that one of your other mods is overwriting the "willow_ember" prefab file. It woudn't crash anymore but you might not be able to cast spells from the lighter itself. Please tell me if you're crashing again.
