I hope it won't be Unreal Engine 5. Since a lot of games on it are not optimized and work disgustingly on Steam Deck.

If you play again and that happens, please try and screenshot it for me. I’ve never seen the prompt come up before the actually checkpoint is reached. The checkpoint happens right before Chapter 2

I can give you my current save file if you want. I did 1st zone on Hard along with 3 or 4? of the sub missions in 1st zone. Didn't start 2nd zone

dude you too prejudiced. I'm really tired of stupid comments from not only russian people who cant read only three paragraphs in game description.

Oh yeah…totally…Starfield is “boring,” “empty,” and “not special.”

I get it we’ve all seen the hot takes. Let me guess…you’re comparing it to some other “perfect” space game that does everything better…right?

No Man’s Sky? Cute…until you realize every planet is just a slightly different Lego set and none of the cities or NPCs actually exist. Elite Dangerous? Gorgeous cockpits…too bad you can’t leave your ship or touch the world you’re flying to. Mass Effect? Brilliant characters…but tiny hubs and a prebuilt ship you can’t even walk through.

Meanwhile Starfield (as it is today) drops you into cities that feel alive…lets you stumble onto quests by eavesdropping in a bar…gives you a ship you engineer and actually live in…and lets you swap from corporate saboteur to space freighter to pirate all in the same save. You can do more in a week of Starfield than in months of any “better” game you’re thinking of.

So yeah…Starfield is “nothing special”…unless you actually play it. But keep whining…keep trying to name your so-called “game that does it better.” I’ll be out here in my ship…jumping systems…uncovering lost stations…and living in a universe you’re still too busy complaining about to explore. :tesiv_sheogorath:

cities that feel alive? I'll stop reading right there as in no way are the SF cities alive or feel alive. if you think some NPC's tracking head movement while you move around is alive there is 5 other games that do it way better.
