i mean why should a person need to join dozens plus of discord channels when some oftentimes even prune servers and remove people who don't actively post (something arrowhead does at least by some persons claims, i've seen people even claim they ban people who don't post) just to get news? news that now you yourself are asking why are people still bringing it up? i personally don't have access anywhere they have said that.

i don't have a twitter account, so i can't look at twitter, i've at least never seen the devs say it on reddit, but reddit being a s*show i actively avoid, i'm already on steam's s*show i don't need to be on two. and i'm not going to create a discord account or add another server to my account just to maybe get some tidbit drops from the devs. when they could just post news and comments about the game with the game. the game isn't on discord i don't see why they should give news and updates about the game on it.

i'm also not against them using these platforms, its the refusing to use the platforms the game is already on, and instead choosing platforms over the ones the game is already on, and never providing the information they say on other non game related platforms, on the game related platform.

oh i'm not saying arrowhead has a history of lying. just companies in general. look at gaijin and warthunder who promised they would never add guided munitions to the game. every kind of vehicle that has mounted guided munitions historically has them now. This isn't an arrowhead comment. its a companies in general say what sounds good in the moment and don't historically stand by it. No mans Sky promised the ability to land on comets before launch, a feature that still is not in game. Its just how companies work.

do you actually play these games or just ♥♥♥♥♥ about them all in the steam forums?

i probably have 4-5 games i cycle between any given time. then normally after a few weeks i cycle some of those games out and put different games in.

theres not many games i bother going into the forums of though. right only really this one and hoi4. but i don't play too many games right now that get post launch updates.

i've honestly also just stopped listening to devs for games though after so many lying through their teeth saying whatever floats their boat in the moment like the Icarus dev team.

What do you mean by new mechanic? Are you talking about the murals or the pyramidons in general?

iirc the current workaround for this is leaving at least 1 tile of space between plant pots and other pots or walls/shelves, if they keep getting stuck try 2 tiles.

In the mission where you plan a mine on the tracks to derail an enemy train, something funky happened and the derailed locomotive ended up on the tracks blocking the way of the player's locomotive. The mission can still be done, as you can just move forward and the derailed locomotive is pushed of the tracks, but all of this lacks realism.
Also, the white light, indicating that acceleration is unavailable behaves differently in the front and rear cabin. In the front cabin, it's highlighted whenever it lights up. In the rear cabin, it behaves exactly the same as all other buttons. There should be an option to disable this highlighting (for this light and for the attention control button).

Yes, but are gamers going to overthrow capitalism? Or are they going to complain about game quality some more despite doing everything possible to prevent game devs getting another promotion. Because once again, shareholders will (almost) never ever take a pay cut to treat the workers better (except maybe at CostCo).

Shouldn't be about overthrowing capitalism but asking this amazing industry to respect Consumer Rights.
Selling incomplete games with AAA full price just for an Early Access version that was probably already release during the Early Access to the fools that can't keep it together, shouldn't be what gamers out in the World should want or be allowed to be exploited.

All I hear is 'I want game devs to subsidise my hobby' because guess what? If the game is, don't buy it. That's literally capitalism, the thing that everyone loves and agrees has no flaws.
