You guys have no idea what people actually have a problem with and it’s hilarious in a sad way to watch you actually defend this game. No, adding mod.io will not fix anything so don’t even suggest that modding support is coming. We all know it will be mod.io because of consoles.

so let me get this straight, you are upset that you have to matchmake for the difficulty/map you want instead of doing the EXACT same thing in a server browser..? I would love to know how that would make a meaningful impact on the gameplay experience.

It also takes 10 seconds of research to find that they do plan to add mod support in the future. Yes there is the issue of crossplay and consoles not being able to do mods, this can be easily solved by having modded servers be crossplay disabled.

Mod support for KF2 on console was very lackluster for the same reason.

Also to say the game will shut down after becoming "non-profitable" is just flat out silly. Kf2 stayed live with an average player count of 2.5k-10k for the last few years,which I imagine is hardly profitable.

So i guess my question is.. what is your complaint? The lack of server browser and no modded servers yet? and you think that will cause the game to crash and burn within months?

Xbox is also a good for modding these days. Stalker 2 just recently got modding on Xbox and it'll be exactly like modding on PC through a browser built in the game with no restrictions besides the obvious stuff.

SLOOOOW. My other games seem to be suffering, too. I've tried lower settings, and higher ones. doesn't seem to help.

Okay, so what? What's the play then?

First, I reject your premise that "adult-oriented" games means that swearing at people is condoned. Swearing is generally perceived as juvenile and adults don't usually do it in public spaces, including online interactions. I may curse with friends privately, but understanding time and place are important aspects of being an adult. Just because we are gamers doesn't mean we're immature. Second, QC is in no way any more "adult-oriented" than Doom was in '93, when half of the world's 12 year-olds were fragging and if that could also be true today, what kind of adult wants to swear at kids?

Which brings me to my suggestion, which was not useless at all. In fact, not swearing at others would avoid all of this. Sure, one can argue that back in the day we could trash talk all we wanted and maybe people had "thicker skin", but that's not where things are today. As I said, that is a separate issue and one that you'll need to pursue with society at large, but expecting Id or Bethesda to not play that game is silly, as they are a public-facing company and answer to people as well; they are beholden to larger entities, on and on.

So, fix society and you'll fix this issue. Until then, find a different way to express yourself.

As for the cheating, that is also a separate issue and outside of this discussion.

They couldn't even add DLSS or FG. There's been countless early access titles that has at least one, and more often than not BOTH. I'm tired of people using EA as a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ scapegoat for the most basic of things not being implemented yet.

Early access is by definition access to build they're still working on with no tandard or guarantee of any patches whatsoever. You only blame your own entitlement and impatience.
