LSPDFR and other mods for storymode can sometimes rely on additional requirements. This can range from running as admin, vcredists, scripthookvdotnet, antivirus/securiry not interfering, etc.

If you installed the game, and did not run it as vanilla - the mods should be disabled/removed - and verify the game works properly vanilla style first. Problems there could again range from lack of admin/permissions, background apps and overlays, av/sec, vcredists, directx, various drivers, os settings, bios settings/clocks, and more.

Sometimes things are TL;DR. Your post isn't and it would only take about 2 minutes to say. Watch any streamer or Youtube video and they talk for hours on end. Transcribe these people and it would be 300 pages every day.

Some people can't read quickly so everything to them is TL;DR, other people post things that are just jibberish and so yeah that's annoying to read.

I'm an older guy. When the internet first became prominent, there weren't trolls or jerks or whatever. This new internet is not what the internet was initially. It has taken me a long time to adjust to the new internet.

It used to just be us nerds and friendly helpful people and some goofing around from time to time, but with everyone on the internet it's a lot harder to navigate.

Your post doesn't deserve a TL;DR. You said what you needed to say in the time it took and I understood everything. If someone doesn't want to read it, that's on them.

If it was jibberish, I'd have just ignored it. Only jerks and toxic people say TL;DR to everything. It was a good post man.

Thanks. I really am trying to not come off as condescending and I apologize to anyone including the OP who felt like I was that's not what I was trying to do. Was only trying to help but maybe I have communication issues.

I remember the internet being like that too or at least the little conclaves in different online games we had. I don't think those conclaves exist anymore lol. I've been on discord but it's more a bunch of social drama centers than chill places to hang out so I dont use it anymore.

We live in a time where most people are frustrated with one thing or another.

So long as you are being polite and trying to help, there is no reason for you to be self conscious about it.

It's when you get pummeled by everyone around you and you just give up and lose it and get pissed off at everyone that it gets incredibly hard.

If you're being polite and still dancing around every word you say, you don't have to continue the conversation or make excuses for yourself, the person or people you're talking to aren't willing to listen. Give up and move on to someone who understands you.

It still baffles me how something like the M4A1 made it into the game, super accurate, high ROF and higher damage than AK carbine which has a lower ROF.
