I've completed Hexen and Deathkings of the Dark Citadel on 4th difficulty with Fighter. It was quite easy in the beginning and a bit troublesome after mid game, especially dealing with any enemy with long distance attack. I hated Bishops the most because usually I had to kill them in close combat and they liked to dodge in my direction in their dying explosive agony.

Expansion was especially hard, devs decided that it would be a good idea to respawn not 2 Ettins but 8-10 enemies of various type, including the awful Stalkers blocking your way on water paths.

I didn't have a problem with Green Mana, because I rarely had any left. So hitting with no mana-charged Hammer was my standard way.

Just now I've beat Hexen with Mage and the expansion solely with Cleric. What can I say Figher is the only true way to play in my opinion, because Boss fights with Mage or Cleric take about 15 secons, and with Fighter it's a long exhausting dance.

Will this title support crossprogression between distribution platforms, such as Steam and Xbox? This feature is becoming increasingly common in the survivorlike space.

eh, Ruthless is perfectly balanced and normal siege is where the "power fantasy" is. For a game that is not meant to be a game you play 24/7 it is good enough in the 2ish hours per day I play it (if I play it).

If they do this right then the last thing I really, really, really want is to pick up 5 or less ammo at once, holy crap is that annoying.
But I hope this does make building fun again, its a nightmare right now, I forget what I'm looking for before I find it half the time.

Trust me, I've had a good read and chuckle at his posts. They're pretty humorous. It's better to let the little guy tire himself out on the forums with his nonsense, it lessens the likelihood of an "IRL" incident.

just because steam indicates "no controller support" doesn't make iit accurate. there are errors like this across steam, especially for games that only support older dinput/xinput drivers/controllers, but chaos theory works flawlessly with a modern controller

The entire front page of this forum is literally just people begging for controller support. I bet it works with a handful of them natively but most don't, and also nobody realizes the game won't be enjoyable even if you get it working.

Yes it does. See: Not a soul who has controller makes it very far, either here or on longplays, they just give up. Go into the reviews and if it's negative, somewhere in the review they mention controller.
