Was a fix ever found? I too am experiencing this exact scenario.

Tried disabling Windows Defender and pausing one drive. Still having the issue. Hopefully, a fix is coming next year.

Fairly invaluable link IMO until they do something about marking the tunnel exits in-game.

cheers. though now i realize to get to later maps you have to travel through tunnels then a map then tunnels then another map... i'm never gonna play for that long. i will get bored.

it takes like 2 minutes to run through the tunnels though?

I am yet to update the enemy AI, along with other things I have on my list. Let me know if more weird things are happening as well ^^

Game has been solid for 36 hours played, started today, just black screens and crashes when I use the mouse. No fix I've come across online has helped. Latest drivers, no issue with other games, very neat and maintained system.

Anyone else?
