I've been looking at Rising World. Been in early access possibly longer than Subsistence, but the Dev is actually updating and more importantly, communicating. I haven't actually played it yet, but it looks like you can fully customize how the game works.

I mainly play killer. I don't really come across it that much. When I play survivor though it's a completely different story. I looped for 3 gens so now I get hit on hook, humped on the floor and tunnel me out. Then they wonder why they get Tbagged xD

Literally use a shield. Hold it infront of you and watch the auto-aim default to hitting your shield. Get a bigger shield and run into them.

I feel that Torchlights 2s moddability gave it the edge over Diablo, considering Grim Dawn that seems to be a prime factor for overall quality and replayability
