Figure out Linux support EA, you broke every single Battlefield/Battlefront on Linux with your anticheat update. There should be a compromise made here: If you're on Windows, Secure Boot must be on; If you're on Linux, you must allow a Kernel level anticheat to run on your machine. I want to play, but it is so tedious booting over to slow/bloated windows partition and actually using that OS in general.

I never made it past mid diamond in early access and I've just been slowly inching all the characters up into platinum when I have time to play right now, so I can't speak to thebcurrent meta experience. From playing diamond before, it isn't all luck. You can learn to game the system, but it requires a lot of dedication.

You need to know everything about the RNG and the odds and how best to use it to get the best chances for seeing the items you may need on the rounds you most need them. You need to know the current meta builds going on and what items and builds will be most useful to counter the most number of potential opponents. You need to have several builds in mind as you start getting items and not try to force a build too hard, pivoting into something else viable if it's what's coming together.

The easier a build is to make and the more opponents it can win against, the better. Uber powerful builds that are too tricky to make, or easy builds that can't win enough in the current meta are just going to sink you more often than not.

Either take a break from ranked if you're capped out and aren't having fun anymore and do some custom matches at whatever skill level is the most fun for you, or buckle down and start learning the real game, because diamond is where it starts getting serious. Never blame RNG for your word, because the people beating you are having to deal with the same stuff and most of the people in master rank aren't just getting endless luck.

Study the opponents who are defeating you. Maybe watch some YouTube videos of people playing at high rank. Figure out how to do what they do.

Games like this give Early Access a bad name. I wish i had not purchased. I got carried away. No Early Access for me going forward. 8 months with no updates is unforgivable no matter how good the next update is.
