I keep getting error code 53 as the game loads to about 100%. I really want to play any suggestions?

I have this error code 53 problem after the latest update few days back. The links given are not working. So do anyone here with the same problem as mine have a solution to this problem?

When i try installing the game i get this error code. How would i go about fixing this?

i try to start my game and i get error code 53. i started it once but it crashed and said error code 105. any ideas how i can play the game??

Right click on "Quake II" in the Library, choose "Properties" , in the "General tab" click on the button "Set Launch Options...", and enter "+set game rogue" (without the quotes), then start Quake II. To return to the original Quake II, just remove "+set game rogue" from "Set Launch Options...".

Everytime I try to start up I always get Error Code 53. I don't know what that means but I can't play Portal 2. I've never played it before. I got it during the Summer Sale on Wednesday and I haven't
touched it since Sunday and when I tried to play it, I got Error Code 53. Can someone please tell me what to do to help me play Portal 2?

CofH 2 won't open. Keeps coming back that the server is busy. I was able to open and play thee game the other night. Have verified local game cache and previously deleted local content and re-installed game. Anybody else having this problem?
