My neighbor has contacts in Ukraine where his college friend (Ukrainian) is married to a Russian woman who worked as a Russian teacher in Kiev. Of course, she was treated with hostility starting in 2014 barred from practicing one's profession. Which is no surprise. They just managed to make it to Italy before the borders were closed. Years earlier, he had been a soldier in eastern Ukraine and did not want to go to war a second time.

Multiplayer is very active, i can find a mach very quickly.

Doesnt feel very active, Queue for 3v3 and 4v4 and you end up sitting here for 20mins or more, its a joke.

People play 3v3 and 4v4 in the lobbies. Not automatic.

You know what's even more embarrassing than crying over a hat in the game? Crying over a hat being removed. I swear I live in a world full of toddlers throwing tantrums.

With my configuration, I got it to start by disabling my monitor's 165hz refresh rate "Overclock". Seems to be the only thing I needed to do for it to work.

I set the driver and monitor up to 1440p, 144hz and it still works. If I turn the Overclock 165hz mode back on, the program again fails after popping up a black window for 2 seconds.

H/W: RTX4080 & ASUS ROG PG279

I've got the same (almost same mine is PG279Q), I did try to reduce refresh rate form nvidia control panel, didn't work, but turning it off the monitors overclock did the job. The funny thing is I've played this game a about two years ago and did not have any issues back then (same monitor, different hardware, with Windows 10). Now that I'm using Windows 11, it must have something to do with it. Possibly unsupported onboard hardware drivers.
