Needs a update, most the missions are glitched . You can play the game so far before it becomes unplayable.

The knight.
- We're literally playing as this guy.
- Is the perfect vessel.
- Has no mind to think.
- Has no will to break (will try until it succeeds).
- Has no voice to cry suffering (can't talk but can listen).
No cost too great (Silksong in 13 tomorrows).

Although the netcode is pretty awesome, and you can indeed do some seriously close side by side or nose/ tail racing, I definitely try to avoid contact at all costs; even if it means giving up a position (better than DNF!)

If mild contact does happen, you can usually still catch the car if things start getting weird but any type of contact between say: the front left of his car against like the right rear of mine can result in either one of us or both loosing control; or not. Contact is a gamble the should be avoided as in real racing.

I've asked Zen Studios about this. Let's see what they will answer.

The problem is: A game like this is much, much harder to develop as it looks. Paradox already has the advantage of experience, work pipelines and technology from the last decades that they can share between their teams, every other developer would need to start from scratch. The games, even in the troubling state that they are, are not easy to beat, and since it is a rather niche genre, there is not much to be gained either.

It is simply not worth it to finance a 4+ year game development in a genre that they have no expertise in. The chance is just very high that even if you manage to create a devent game, it will not be enough to dethrone the already established game that dominates this niche.

Additionally to that, there is opportunity cost: Even IF that is possible and a wealthy but not ♥♥♥♥♥♥ publisher takes on this and throws enough time and money on it to create the "Victoria 3 killer", it is still a relatively niche genre and they would just earn more money if they use that time and money to create a game with a broader mass appeal.

It is very similar - I think - to the Sims, where even though the last game was 10 years ago and not exactly the series' best entry, there has still no "Sims" killer emerged. Even though it superficially looks rather simple, it is very complex to do it properly, and bundled with the fact there is already an established top dog in that niche it is just not a promising project.

Or Civilization - even though several have tried to beat it, the strongest rival to Civilization 6 is still its own predecessor. Funnily enough, not even its own successor seems to manage this.

But I want to add that I don't really know what I am talking about, a disclaimer that I think should automatically applied to most comments on steam :-)

nice but my biggest want right now is the ability to angle objects wich isnt possible right now, really annoying making a blood trail on floor that goes up or down

Not really a subclass because it doesn't stray away from scout's original playstyle.
The loadout is decent though.

If you wanna be effective with the shortstop at far/mid range, use the crit a cola.

If you wanna be more annoying from a far/mid range use the cleaver instead of the pistol. Using the force a nature can also boost the annoying factor.

I'd argue that it does stray away from normal scout because scout is usualy great at getting up in peoples faces and dealing damage at close range with scattergun, which the peppergun is not one of.
