It's a good tool for older titles/ports that don't support AF or default to a lower setting. I generally keep it forced to 16x and this is the first time an issue like this has arisen. In modern titles, it's probably not as helpful.

Thank you for your feedback! Can you clarify a release cadence that would be acceptable for an "early access game in such a poor state"? So we can better address your concerns, it would also be helpful to know in what areas you consider Sea Power to be "in such a poor state".

If your Tiny Bookshop save has disappeared on Mac, it might still be on your computer — just in a different folder than the game is currently reading from. The game often looks for saves in `~/Library/Application Support/neoludic games/Tiny Bookshop/Steam/Saves`, but your real save files might still be in `~/Library/Application Support/games.neoludic.tiny-bookshop/Steam/Saves`. To recover them, first completely close the game and Steam. Open Terminal and back up both locations to your Desktop so you don’t lose anything, by running:

"cp -R ~/Library/Application\ Support/neoludic\ games/Tiny\ Bookshop/Steam/Saves ~/Desktop/neoludic_games_backup"

"cp -R ~/Library/Application\ Support/games.neoludic.tiny-bookshop/Steam/Saves ~/Desktop/games_neoludic_backup"

Then copy the files from the old save location into the one the game uses:

Now open the game and check if your saves appear. If they do, you’re done — if not, try keeping only the most recent save file in that folder or send both backup folders as a ZIP to the developers at developers@neoludic.games along with your Steam username, operating system version, and the date/time you lost your progress. The file `steam_autocloud.vdf` is not your real save — it’s just a small Steam Cloud settings file — so make sure you’re copying `.save`, `.json`, `.bin`, or similarly large files.

So if there's no .save file it's gone? I seem to only have .vdf files. I am so upset.

How is that even possible? I wasn't playing for like 2-3 weeks due to job. And now when I'm finally got some time it crashes.

Game loads to save, but whenewer I'm trying to enter the crib stash or start mission - crash.
Tried to verify game files and clean cache and delete all mods but no luck.
