Hello, I’m unable to purchase games. How do I roll back?

Joking aside, I do agree that calling something a "Free DLC" does just make it sound like a PR gimmick where they want the player to feel they are being gifted something extra. Kinda like getting an extra scoop of ice cream when you just ordered one. They obviously would have gotten a much better reception if they had just called it part of the coming update.

For now though, rest assured this DLC at least will indeed be free. After that? Well, that is where it gets iffy. I read in another thread where someone said there is already another DLC in planning for sometime next year. If that is the case......

“We plan to improve the game throughout Early Access for at least a year . However, as we communicate with players and gather feedback on the game's direction, the roadmap may change.”

If they do leave early access next year rather than extend it, they could easily start charging for DLCs meaning the next one could be paid. We shall have to wait and see.

weird how every conjecture is toward the negative otherwise. you know things can go the other way too, right?

it's just a glorified content update, and many in here seem to be making out to be a bait and switch or something.

I dont want the game to fail at all. Unlike other's though, I dont operate on wishful thinking. The gaming world isnt all unicorns and rainbows. Im a realist who can read all of the info presented and form logical possible conclusions.

Do the devs follow these discussions?

The other alternative is to wait until the popularity dies down and the servers normalize with less traffic.

hmm, I wonder if a dumb idiot needs to be explained what official discussions are on steam? Maybe it's one of the forms of feedback because they don't respond on the official site either. Maybe a dumb idiot can put 2+2 together and realize that people in one topic can give a general feedback, maybe a dumb idiot will then understand that no one is obliged to sit and wait and do nothing until the game dies.
