Hello! You can already adjust the percentage of time colonists spend working and resting in "Colonist Assignments" - "Work mode".

There's mostly two reasons devs use UE5. 1) it's "the standard" so it's easier to find developers with experience using the tools, 2) so they don't have to spend money and time optimizing their game because Epic claim they won't have to and then they won't get LOD pop-in but it's a lie, lumen and nanite run like crap and you get weird shadow artefacts, shimmering because of subpixel detail so now you need blur and you will actually still get LOD pop-ins.

It's bigger than having to enable a feature. It sets a precedent for a wider industry trend of what is as arguably intrusive as being required to enable a feature in order to use common software. First it will be the hit multiplayer video game, then maybe it will be your AutoCAD or your Photoshop or your FL Studio for no purpose other than DRM (active internet connection during whole session) enforcement. Now put it on top of the argument that it's futile because cheaters will eventually sidestep it anyway.

Here's the thing, the person you're talking to is most likely a very well known whiner who constantly would make lists of "hackers" and start pointless arguments on the forums. This went on for years, before they were finally reported enough that actual steam moderation got involved and removed their main accounts.

Obviously they are still ban evading, it's a long lasting obsession that probably won't end until the servers are shut down. They type pretty much the exact same way as said person.

As far as this game goes? I quit ages ago, and come here sometimes just to get a laugh. It's always the same people, it's been the same people for YEARS. This game is a whole lot of people's entire existence. They need to close it already, or just make a sequel.

We did not roll back any such comments, any word to the contrary is pure misinformation. What Osiris said and the original comment are not mutually exclusive, now that we know what exactly is allowed and what's not, we can push the restrictions to the absolute limit to deliver content.

Kam, please correct me if I'm wrong, but the 'absolute limit' to which you can 'push the restrictions' won't move an inch in comparison to what you had to change in the core game prior to the console release, correct?

You 'what you can and what you cannot do'. Doesn't this mean that the new releases will HAVE to adhere to the restrictions that made you cut content from the original game in the first place?

IMO you're just playing with words here. What I mean by 'console-sanitized' is exactly that: All new releases WILL adhere to the console restrictions that made you change the ingame contents.

Am I wrong?

In COTW these things are usually free, but I want to know if in WOTH they cost in-game-money as well or if you have to level up in order to use them.

You don't need to Level Up in this game to use Guns, you only need Money to buy them
Most of the Time DLCs you buy letting you claim the weapon instantly in the game, only the Free UTV pack has you Buy them first
