I’d honestly caution against picking up Stalker 2 if what you’re looking for is that same sense of discovery and atmosphere that Elden Ring nails. On paper, the Zone sounds like it should be this living, dangerous place…but, in practice, it feels really static and kind of lifeless. The game is also pretty rough around the edges right now; janky in ways that pull you out instead of pulling you in.

If exploration and immersion are the top priorities, I personally feel Stalker 2 isn't a good fit. You’d probably have a better time with something like Remnant 2 or even diving back into older Bethesda-style worlds (if you haven’t already).

I do not agree with that take on Stalker 2 at all, and I played through it twice, with even more focus on freestyle exploring on my second run, before most of the patches even...

Так причина в том, что у лисички только подкат работает, да и то это очень рискованная способность. Стелс не работает, а ульта ничего не дает. Одной только великолепной внешностью, анимацией и топовой озвучкой не получить популярность в шутере.
А скунсиха для тех, у кого 1 извилина. Ею очень просто играть, нужно прямо постараться, чтобы не получить мвп при игре за нее. И она самый бесячий персонаж в игре. Естественно она будет самой популярной, ведь все те, у кого руки не прямые, хотят получать преимущество и выигрывать.

This has been a sweat game for a long time, and yes there was a progamer circuit for DoW1/2 back in the day and it was one of the first games with professional matches streamed on JustinTV once upon a time. But none of that really matters for players just wanting a working stat/score system. Definitely not something to rage about, what a weird rant.

Yes, I don't understand this person's logic either. They are angry about a simple score system that used to be in the game and being requested for (or fixed considering it sort of works) again, considering that this is the 'definitive' edition.

Having the score system working again would help players better find the games suited to their abilities. It's a win for all players. I'm not sure what all the Elo or esports stuff is about. People don't seem to be able to read these days. They want to rant and that's all that seems to matter. The guy even said he like's to trigger sweats. I think this gives some indication of the type of person they are. A tragic existence indeed!
