I was disconnected mid game along with a friend (we have good internet) and now none of us can go into our profiles and the server status window claims "0 people online".
Anyone else encounter this just now?
Is there some form of maintenance or something?

Secure boot makes a ton harder for casual cheats. Hence why half the anti secure boot posts are cheaters and people who profit from it crying and moaning attempting to make ♥♥♥♥ up to pressure EA, even though they clearly represent a minority of players.

at max size (unmodded), you can have 2000 tiles. those 4 small thrusters (4*2=8) + 6 large thrusters (6*4=24) + 2 tanks (2x9) = 41 tiles is less than 2% of the overall hull.

Thrusters are also airtight, so you can use them in place of walls. Small thrusters especially are pretty much just free space wise.
